Everyone went above and beyond, they surprised us with an upgrade to the Royal Suite, which was absolutely gorgeous: spacious, beautifully decorated, bathtub and so comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, the location is great, and the whole experience felt special. (128 reviews) Property was nice but not overwhelming. austere would be the way to describe the decor. The rooms were a good size and service was good. But overall, there was nothing memorable about this Riad. Also, as is true for most riads in the Medina, one would have to be picked at the nearest car access and be transported by luggage service to the Riad itself. We are used to this, but Dar Bensouda was quite much farther than what would be typical.
