This is a great spot. I will definitely stay again. Check in and out was straight forward and uncomplicated unlike other hotels. The swimming pool area is very relaxing and very well kept. We found the location excellent for getting around. This was a very positive experience.

A very clean, comfortable and welcoming hotel, conveniently located with friendly and helpful staff and a good restaurant. The hotel has a calm and relaxing atmosphere and rooms are well appointed and of a good size.Convenient for Newcastle Airport, Fightertown Museum, Nelsons Bay and Newcastle and surrounding areas. Easily accessed (but not too close) to Princes Highway.

Very welcoming and helpful. Room showing it's age but actually clean and no real problem. In room kettle / toaster / microwave good for snacks and breakfast. Location is convenient for travelling into Hunter Valley. Local shopping mall nearby.

Fantastic pub stay hotel. Way better than I expected. Modern, clean and welcoming.
Cracking pub with great staff.
Free continental breakfast( help yourself) but note there’s no on suite bathrooms even if site may suggest that.
Communal bathroom and toilets spotless.
I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again, top marks to Nick and staff.

The best area to stay in Seaham is the main village area, particularly around the Seaham General Store and the Williams River.
This central part of Seaham offers a convenient base. The village is small and easily navigable, with the General Store serving as a local landmark and a hub for essentials. The Williams River runs alongside, providing a pleasant natural backdrop and opportunities for waterside activities.
Families often find this area ideal due to its relaxed pace and access to outdoor space. The river provides a natural playground for children, and the open areas around the village mean there's plenty of room to explore.
When is the best time to go to Seaham?
The best time to visit Seaham, New South Wales, is during the spring (September to November) and autumn (March to May) months.
These periods offer pleasant weather, with comfortable temperatures and less humidity than the summer. You'll find it ideal for exploring the natural beauty of the area, whether you're interested in bushwalking, enjoying the local waterways, or simply relaxing outdoors. The spring brings blooming wildflowers, while autumn offers mild, sunny days superb for outdoor activities.
For those looking to enjoy the water, the warmer months of late spring and early autumn are particularly good. Conditions are generally calm, making it suitable for kayaking, fishing, or simply enjoying the riverside setting.
