Holiday Home Sciacca

Holiday Home Sciacca is a villa in exclusive use, located on a slight rise with a wonderful sea view. Totally immersed in greenery, it offers different relaxation corners for adults and children. The sea is accessed from our private road and from a comfortable staircase. The sandy beach is fantastic, with shallow waters. The views are breathtaking, and being able to reach the beach along a few meters is something exclusive. Guests have access to all the outdoor space 1200 m2, full of typical trees and plants. The Barbecue area is certainly a strong point of the structure. The sea view makes the villa unique. Holiday villa located in a residential area called Residence Capo San Giorgio in Timpi Russi, a few km from Sciacca, Ribera and Agrigento. Immersed in a garden where plants typical of the Mediterranean maquis predominate, the house is simple and with essential furnishings to allow you to spend a relaxing and peaceful holiday. A beautiful sea view predominates from every point outside the house, and in the barbecue area you can enjoy wonderful outdoor barbecues. Just 50 m on foot, in a small bay, there is a beach of sand and pebbles. Possibility of visits and excursions in the nearby Selinunte at only 30 km, Eraclea Minoa at 35 km, Agrigento 65 km, Erice 100 km. On request at the time of booking it is possible to combine the two single beds and form a double bed.

Paradise

This beautiful beach house is in a beautiful part of Sicily—close enough to Sciacca for groceries and services, but at the same time, with the feel of a remote corner of the island. Easy travel to Menfi, Agrigento, and Saliunte, this is the perfect location to explore southwestern Sicily. Everything in the house works well, and the place is immaculate.

Endless Summer

Perfecto! Spend a week or summer, it's impossible not to enjoy this charming property situated a few steps away from a beautiful beach and a short drive to Sciacca. Exceptionally well equipped kitchen, good sized bedrooms with high quality mattresses, etc etc. Wifi worked well. Outdoor area with chairs, chaises, etc was a great bonus. The best feature was the outdoor shower. You'll want to stay forever. Host Madalena was extremely helpful.

nice, clean house with a well kept, shaddy garden

The house and the garden are clean and comfortable, the host, Maria, is nice and accommodating; the reality fits the pictures; the nearby beach (some 100 m walk and a stairway) was unexpectedly uncrowded in the second decade of September; all in all, a pleasant experience, if you bear with Sicily`s warm weather and it`s particular approach to hygiene, traffic, any rule or regulation at all.

Absolutely loved our stay here. Perfect size for a family of 4. The outdoor seating was very comfortable. We really only came inside to sleep. Three AC units that worked great as it was definitely hot while we were there. Lovely shower, kitchen and the beds were pretty comfortable. Loved that there was only 1 or two other homes along the path to the beach and that we could park right at the house. The landscaping was pretty with flowers and a lime tree. Our favorite part was the beach. The sand was gorgeous and not overly crowded. In fact, we went down at sunset twice and had the beach completely to ourselves. We also opted to dine in twice as we were so relaxed and were happy to hang out at the house. Highly recommend this to anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing beach stay in this area.

Bring Extra Toilet Paper

The property is clean, beautiful, steps away from the beach. Restaurants, stores, and sightseeing are within driving distance. Unfortunately, there were miscommunications that should have been avoided. After my booking was accepted, Maria said she had to charge more. I hoped she would honor what she advertised, maybe split the difference. She basically said take it or leave it. We had our hearts set on this property so I agreed to pay extra. The listing is a 3 bed/3 bath. One bath is an outside shower. What’s misleading is, the 3rd bedroom/second bathroom was only included upon request for a separate fee. The listing is in English except, “La depandance è disponibile per un numero di persone comprese da 5 a 6 o su richiesta ad un prezzo extra da concordare al momento della prenotazione.” Translated: “The outbuilding is available for between 5 and 6 people or upon request at an extra price to be agreed at the time of booking.” We were 4 people. 2 with health conditions requiring frequent/long use of a toilet. I begged Maria to use the second bathroom. She reluctantly agreed to allow us access the next day. There were only 5 coffee pods, no paper towels/napkins and when running low on toilet paper I asked if there was more. She responded, “I only provide what is necessary.” 1-1/2 rolls of toilet paper for 4 people for 3 days? The other bathroom Maria cleaned that morning had NO toilet paper. The home is beautiful/in a perfect location but go to the store before arrival.

Clean, right by the beach, calm

Our host Maria welcomed us to this new and clean small beach house. Furniture outside and inside were well maintained, the kitchen was almost new and the shower was great. Wifi holds up for Zoom calls as well (LTE) and Sciacca is inky 15 minutes away by car. One small improvement: 2-3 nice kitchen knives would be great.

Super Haus

Hatten eine sehr erholsame Zeit in dem Haus. Die Lage ist perfekt und das Haus sehr modern und sauber. Perfekt für Paare oder kleine Familien. Einziger (kleiner) Kritikpunkt ist das Bett. Es knarzt und hat relativ unbequeme Kissen. Ansonsten sehr zu empfehlen!

Une Thébaïde reposante

La maison de Maria est parfaitement rénovée et chose rare les photographies sont parfaitement exactes. La proximité d'une plage familiale est très agréable. Proche et loin de tout tout à la fois, la maison est un écrin de tranquillité. Mon second sejour ne sera pas le dernier. Les divines productions locales de Maria et sa famille sont un vrai plus.

Wunderschönes Ferienhaus

Wir waren fast eine Woche in dem sehr liebevoll frisch renovierten Ferienhaus von Maria. Sie ist eine tolle Gastgeberin und stand uns jederzeit mit guten Tipps zur Seite. Das EM- Endspiel war eine Stunde nach unserer Anreise und sie hat uns einen Tisch reserviert, wo wir am Strand das Spiel schauen konnten. Das Essen dort war sehr gut. Danke noch einmal. Das Haus liegt direkt am Meer. Von der Terrasse aus kann man das wunderbare blaue Meer sehen. Der Strand war sehr sauber mit wenigen Steinen und das Meer war klar. Ein paar Fische kann man jederzeit sehen. Sehr tolle ist die Aussendusche mit warmen Wasser. Die Einrichtung und die Küche sind sehr modern und geschmackvoll. In der Küche sind alle wichtigen Kochutensilien vorhanden. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden jederzeit wieder in das Haus fahren.
