"The room is small but fairly clean. I didn’t see any stains anywhere. Bathroom has a nice size, no closet. Small cabinet with a mini fridge and tv, so the side. The staff were super nice and gave cookies when checking in. The shuttle bus was supposed to run from 9 to 9 but stopped at 5pm (the driver had left). I didn’t get to try the breakfast but they have tea and coffee in the lobby. Sugar, milk is on the table. If you don’t like the coffee, there’s dunkin and Starbucks nearby. The view is lackluster, I was looking at the highway for the most part and parking lot. Must go’s are the outlet malls which is a 10 minute drive with the stoplights. Parking is almost impossible."

"Really nice place all around with an amazing view. Hosts have have put thoughtful details in and it shows. We had a minor issue (something we probably should've figured out) and they were happy to help almost immediately after letting them know. Kitchen was stocked with all the cookware, spices, and coffee we needed. Definitely recommend. "

"This was more than your typical vacation rental. We were having major renovations in our home and stayed in this wonderful little house for 3 weeks (with 3 needs to extend our stay). This truly became our home; welcoming, cozy, and quiet. Our “family” was able to remain intact due to the kindness of the owners. We could not have imagined spending 22 days without our little ones. There was nothing better than cuddling up around the woodstove in the evening with a glass of wine to decompress from the day’s happenings. The warmth and coziness of the of the woodstove was enjoyed by “everyone” in the family. We had the best Super Bowl party for 2; Roku TV was great! Everything was provided; complete kitchen with microwave, dishwasher and gas stove. On the back porch was a gas grill and wood for the woodstove. The 3rd floor was perfect for quietly working in the office space. If you needed anything, DG was a 5-minute walk. Quiet, little to no traffic apart from the daily school bus.I would more than recommend this lovely little house for a weekend in the Hudson Valley or an extended stay. You feel at home from the minute that you walk through the door. We could not have picked a better place to stay.Our thanks to Robert and his team! "An interesting and beautiful historical site. The mansion has been beautifully preserved and simultaneously updated with all the modern amenities needed to be comfortable, including well-equipped bathrooms and comfortable beds. The owners love to make breakfast for the guests so don’t skip that part of the experience. Cornwall itself is a hidden gem and wonderful escape. Enjoy! "

"This is the kind of house that, if you walked through it looking to buy, you'd see the gorgeous windows and high ceilings and huge lawn and overlook everything else.Unfortunately, there was a lot to overlook. We weren't able to get into the house until an hour after the check-in time because the host hadn't sent the door code. The house had obviously been cleaned and reset since the last guests, but everything was sticky and kind of gross. Some things were new-looking and nice (e.g. the furnishings in the living areas), while others (the stair carpeting and banister; the steps leading to the porch; the backyard swingset) were visibly falling apart. The whirlpool jets in the master bath didn't work, and there was no curtain between the shower and the rest of the room or between the shower and the large window it abutted. And there was trash and cigarette butts all over the firepit and yard!"

"The property was perfect for the five of us! We enjoyed the TV and the cleanliness of the home. We also had quick and great communication. There is several dining options as well as a grocery store that is about a 3 minute walk fro the home. We would definitely stay there again."
