Good location for the Howe Caverns
The location seems a little shady. The hotel entrance is pretty. Bed is comfortable. Bathroom was decently clean. When we checked in we were given a hot cookie.
In the morning, the person that checked us out, was not very pleasant. she was rude and not courteous.

Union College Mom
The hotel is less than 2 miles to Union College and it's less than 2 years old. Great location, terrific breakfast and ultra clean rooms. Can't ask for more! Will stay again.

Forgotten iPad returned.
We accidentally left an iPad in the room. Housekeeping turned it in. Ron called us so we could arrange to get it. They handled it honestly and professionally.

Very nice, but bed not very comfy
We enjoyed the ambiance of a boutique hotel right in the middle of downtown Schenectady. Unfortunately, the king bed was uncomfortable. The bathroom was very nice, as was the kitchen area, but the floor squeaked loudly when we had to use the bathroom in the middle of the night.

Nice hotel close to casino where we were going.
Will probably be a lot easier to get to once nearby construction is completed.

Fantastic stay!
In town for a family reunion with my wife and three kids. The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. We even got a free upgrade to a larger room! The room itself was a little older, but it suited all of us perfectly. Unfortunately we missed all of the free nightly spirits and food, but the free daily breakfast was a great way to start the day. The hotel was gracious enough to pick me up from the rental car place in the evening and drove us to the airport, from our hotel door, in the early morning of our flight home.
As an airline pilot I stay at many hotels and The Residence Inn will always be one of my favorites.
