16th Century Villa

We had a lovely stay and thoroughly enjoyed the quiet and serenity of the villa located outside of Florence. Easy access to travel. Visited Siena, Lucca, Florence and Venice. Alexandra was a wonderful hostess and the property was stunning. A great time was had by all!

Great retreat farm house outside of Florence

A nice retreat from the city of Florence. A good home base for a larger group. The pool is fabulous. The house was cool at night which was great, you could sleep with the windows open. Our main complaints were the beds aren’t the most comfortable and the WiFi was having issues when we were there so it was spotty, but the amount of space and the property as a whole was great. It is remote so there isn’t anything walkable to the house, you do need a car to get anywhere even the small town of Scandicci which is 2 miles away.

Amazing property and our host was exceptional

From the moment we arrived until we left our host was very responsive, always helpful and really cared about our stay being very memorable. Tha location was perfect, quiet, beautifully landscaped and away from the hustle and bustle of Florence. However Alexandra showed us how to be in the center of Florence by tram within 30 minutes. The best of all worlds. There are many excellent restaurants in Scandicci and Alexandra will carefully guide you. There is a lot of space in the house and the bedrooms are very well laid out. Strong internet in the dining room allowing Skype and zoom to work perfectly. It is a beautiful authentic Tuscan property and we are already planning our return. It was a spectacular time. The best part is we could explore a different location daily ranging from Siena, San Gimignano, Greve in Chianti and Panzano. In fact we enjoyed the smaller places more that the very touristy Florence where the days can be hot and very crowded. This property has it all and offers a perfect hub to explore the entire region and not feel solely focused on Florence. Highly recommended.
