Located in The National Landmark Historic District, this row house is within walking distance of most of downtown Savannah's attractions. In fact, you don't even need a car, because you can easily walk to nearby restaurants, shops, parks, & other activities.
This row house still maintains its original layout but has been updated with modern amenities. The new owner is an architect with roots in Savannah, who has woven antiques & modern furniture into a transitional aesthetic that gives a glimpse into how historic character evolves into modern day living throughout the life of a home.
Enter through the front door & you will find yourself in your main interior living area outfitted with comfortable seating options, throw pillows & blankets. For those times when you want to relax with a movie or your favorites show. The 55” 4K UHD OLED Smart TV with Roku streaming & a DVD player if you like to bring along your favorite movies. The house also has 5G Wi-Fi coverage that extends into the courtyard.
Walk from the living room through the dining room which seats 4-6 comfortably with a cocktail station set up on the built-in buffet adjacent to the pass-through window from the kitchen, for passing meals through or serving buffet style.
The galley kitchen is compact but well-appointed with updated appliances (cooktop/oven, dishwasher, refrigerator, disposal) & furnished with quality cooking supplies & condiments which will allow you to cook a meal any time of day or night. The kitchen also features a coffee bar with an amazing 4 in 1 coffee station featuring a 12-cup carafe, single K-Cup service, Nespresso Style Pod ability, steamer for frothing milk or making hot water for tea. The bar also has a coffee/spice grinder if you bring your own beans. We provide regular ground coffee for the filtered carafe, regular & decaf k-cups, high octane espresso pods, regular sugar & Stevia packs, creamer & tea bags.
The main level is also a spacious & convenient half-bathroom supplied with an additional hair dryer if the upstairs bath is in use. From the kitchen you can step outside to your private garden courtyard, which is a perfect place to sip some iced tea, admire the greenery, & enjoy life. There is even a gas grill in case you feel like grilling a meal outside. The courtyard has a table for 4 & a large, cantilevered adjustable angle umbrella to block the afternoon heat. When day turns to night, the courtyard has LED Edison bulb string lights overhead giving you a festive atmosphere.
Back indoors, walk up a set of stairs to reach the second level. This upper floor has a full bathroom with a tub/shower combination that is accessible from the hallway. The first of the bedrooms on the right features a king bed with space for changing your clothing & putting up your luggage off the floor and a 32” Smart TV. The second bedroom has a queen-size bed & full closet where you can store your belongings. Each bed has a bedside docking tray that lets you recharge your phone (usb & usb-c or normal power), rest your book before going to bed or to place any small item you need at the bedside.
There is also a pack & play for the little ones stored in the laundry room accessed through the first bedroom. The laundry area has a front load washer & dryer, along with detergent & dryer sheets. (Please no fabric softeners). A drying rack & laundry hamper are also available in addition to hanging space with wood hangers. There is an iron, steamer & an ironing board available as well. All in all, this home will comfortably sleep four adult guests’ maximum.
When you are ready to see more of Savannah, set out on foot & explore the tree-lined streets downtown stepping back into history, while shopping at the locally owned galleries, boutiques & bookstores. Walking is the best way to this city- you can peek into the past as you pass by little windows of beautiful gardens & regal homes that dot the downtown area. These are the hidden takeaways that make this city the gem that it truly is.
Savannah is increasingly known for its wonderful restaurants & cafes, so be sure to stop & get a cool drink or coffee or even a cocktail while you are walking around town. We have “To-Go” cups that you can use during your stay but please return them & don’t take them to go all the way home with you. Savannah allows “open containers” in the downtown area as long as it’s not in glass (& you behave yourself). If that is not your style, go ahead & try one of the breweries in town, or take the kids to get a milkshake at a nearby ice cream parlor. Within a few blocks of this home, you can find all sorts of food options, ranging from pizza to Japanese to Cuban specialties, as well as classic southern-style cuisine. Whether you want to spend your visit sampling the many restaurants, taking photos of the landmarks, or simply relaxing in your private courtyard, you will love it here! If you need cooking supplies from the downtown grocery stores or food shops, we have four reusable shopping, bags branded with the Uneeda Biscuit Ghost Billboard like the one on the side of the Row house. Please feel free to use them but return them to their home. If you want one for your own home as a memento of your visit- we can provide you with the site, they we had them made.
Come stay at this historic & beautiful Georgia vacation rental & experience a taste of history combined with modern comforts & the fantastic attractions of Savannah!

Lovely decor and comfortable beds. Very clean and up to date amenities. Walkable distance to both Forsyth Park and River St. We enjoyed our time very much
This home was perfect. Central walking distance to most attractions and restaurants. If you don’t want to walk then it is about 3-4 blocks away from a trolley stop on Old Town Tours. The house was clean and comfortable. As per prior reviews the stairs are a bit tricky but we loved it because the house stayed true to the era it was built in. We will recommend it and certainly stay again.

We absolutely LOVED our stay in this adorable property. Wonderful location in beautiful downtown Savannah with everything we needed. It was spotless and the little courtyard was a lovely place to have morning coffee. We walked everywhere! This home’s proximity to all downtown attractions can’t be beat. We would love to come again!
The home was lovely, and very walkable for things we wanted to do. We (3 women) felt very at home there, and enjoyed having a place to unwind and rest between our adventures.
Great location and the property was just as advertised,

Everything we needed
This place had everything we needed. We were attending a conference at the nearby DeSoto hotel. This was a short walk and enabled two adults to each have own room and a place to hang out. Easy walking distance to downtown area.

The location was awesome! The stairs were steep and uneven by the turn making it difficulty to get up and down if you aren't as able. The unit was decorated very nicely and it was clean.
This is a good place to experience old Savannah and the neighborhood is safe and charming. Easy walk to cafe’s, parks and shopping. The stairs are a little steep up to the bedrooms so maybe not good for anyone feeling unsure of their balance etc but the bathroom is bright, water pressure and water quality is lovely and you can darken the bedroom to sleep in. Overall it was a nice getaway and would return.
The cottage was very clean and neat upon arrival. Our family of 4 (all adults) really enjoyed our stay and we slept very comfortably. We had a few inquiries which were responded to promptly. The cottage is located conveniently close to the historic district, but I would not recommend walking. A few upgrades could be made to the cottage, but it did not hinder anything and a great time was had by all! Would recommend.

Very outdated and in need of updates/renovation
The location, property management and cleanliness (aside from the mold and what cannot be helped but to renovate) was good. The property itself however, needs a major renovation, update and is in desperate need of maintenance. The walkability was awesome. The art and photos were very odd and creepy in the home.

Overall a great stay for the few nights we were in town. It was very easy walking distance to multiple restaurant options as well as shopping. We enjoyed the charm of the decor and older furniture. Be careful of the 3rd and 4th step on the stairs; they can be tricky. The TV is a bit challenging to use and the free WiFi was very slow, but you’re in Savannah and you should be out checking out the sights anyways!
Word of caution if you have a vehicle: metered parking is the only option immediately available around the property. Savannah is a very walkable city!
Not as specific to the property itself, but you will also need to pay attention to the signs indicating which day the streets are cleaned around town. There are a few unmetered spots if you are lucky. Regardless, get the Park Savannah app on your phone ahead of time and set up your vehicle and payment info. ~$1 per hr street parking around the location, but parking lots are easily ~$10 per hr, so choose wisely.

Quiet and quaint
We were a family of 4 which included 2 teenagers. The space was adequate to accommodate the 4 of us. The powder room was useful as a 2nd place to get ready for the day. The home was clean and easy to access. It was close to lots of points of interest. We felt safe and nighttime was peaceful.
This is an historic home. It’s not fancy at all, but it’s clean and comfortable. The furnishings and decor are old and could use some freshening up. The towels and sheets were scratchy, low quality, so one may prefer to bring their own if possible. The stairs inside are narrow and steep. Both bedrooms are upstairs, so make sure you’re capable of climbing those. WiFi was sketchy. It would randomly disconnect. The air conditioner worked, but there is a big difference between upstairs and downstairs. Much warmer up. Fans are provided and we used them!
We would stay again.

No Title
On arrival, the outside kinda made us gasp. Very run down looking. Not because it’s old, plenty of places around it are just as old and well taken care. Planters, flowers, paint, etc.
Inside has that old smell but not a bad one if that makes sense. You’re staying in an old historical house, with antique furnishings, we expected it. Kinda added to its charm.
Furnishings were good, what we expected. Beds are more comfortable than we thought they’d be at first. Everything was pretty clean, no issues on that.
Stairwell needs attending too before someone gets hurt, particularly the black iron rail that only appears to be attached to the wall.
Back courtyard area, definitely private and was a nice feature to have in the evenings but definitely needs some garden love.
Location is very convenient and everything historic Savannah was within walking distance.
Check in and check out went pretty flawless and was easy.
Overall the stay was good.

Mixed Feelings
Upon arrival everything looked great, clean, location was amazing, from there our experience slowly went downhill. Our first night a heavy rain storm came through and the skylight/ceiling window leaked very heavily. Although this is an unforeseen circumstance, how this was handled with the owner was awful. Weeks after the trip and still have not heard back on what to do or how to handle the water pouring in. Our second night we discovered that the place has roaches as one fell from the ceiling in the upstairs bathroom. We decided to leave early because of how unpleasant the stay had been. I have requested a refund for the time we paid for but didn’t get to spend there, but once again, we haven’t heard anything back.
Father and sons trip and the property was great. Walked to most areas within 15-20 minutes. The property built in 1890 added to the coolness of the stay.
