Wonderful stay

4 day stay. House was comfortable and in a quiet neighborhood. Host responded to emails immediately. Pictures and description of house was accurate. We would stay at this house again if our travels took us to Savannah.

Convenient & Comfortable

We chose Savannah Place for our stay b/c it was close to a wedding venue, which we were in town to attend, provided the space we needed for our family and the description sounded cozy. Joel and Angie were very responsive hosts and were gracious to accommodate an early check in. The home was well equipped and is in a quiet residential neighborhood. There are plenty of restaurants and grocery shopping close by. We appreciate Joel & Angie for offering this home for our stay.

Fantastic Stay in Quiet Neighborhood

We had a wonderful stay at this VRBO rental in Isle of Hope! The location is perfect—tucked away in a peaceful, picturesque neighborhood with beautiful scenery and a true Lowcountry feel. It’s a great spot for relaxing while still being a short drive from downtown Savannah. The house itself is comfortable and well-equipped with everything we needed for our stay. While it could use a deep cleaning, it was clean at a surface level and didn’t affect our overall experience. The backyard is a nice, but pet owners should be aware that there are lots of friendly neighborhood dogs nearby—especially in the backyard—so expect a warm (and sometimes vocal) welcome!Overall, this is a great rental for anyone looking for a quiet getaway in a charming area. We’d definitely stay again!

STAY AWAY!! The decor inside and outside the home was similar to what was advertised; however: the back deck (patio furniture/hammock/deck) was not usable due to the entire deck being heavy with debris on the chairs & table, deck floor, torn hammock, umbrella was on the ground. In addition, the toilets flooded and we were without toilets for 2 hours (owner NEVER responded) and we had to resolve the issue on our own; no internet service (owner responded but nothing worked- never resolved & never checked to see if it was resolved); home had a slight odor; when showering in smaller bathroom, water would flow into the floor despite the shower curtain being fully expanded & within the area; bugs (daily) inside the home; ac return vent was dirty. Also, the water pressure is low in both bathrooms but the one in the main master was very low, so water barely came out of the faucet. By the end of the first night there, NO water came out of the cold water faucet; only the one for hot. I informed the owner, he asked that I send a video, I did, NO RESPONSE!So we had to brush our teeth with warm water OR run over to the other bathroom OR fill a cup with cold water prior. Also, only 1 TV is advertised so if you want more than 1 TV, there is none. Does not matter because there was no internet/WiFi either to connect. My sister had to work and this caused a huge inconvenience. Overall - DO NOT stay here!! We honestly want a refund or some of my costs returned.
