We really enjoyed our stay. The owner was very friendly and helpful. The hotel has lots of lovely plants and trees around that give a great atmosphere. The room was very spacious and my daughter loved the two levels.

We had a wonderful stay at Chambre d'hôtes La Tillaie and would not hesitate to recommend it. The property has been beautifully renovated, combining character and charm with every modern comfort. Our room was exceptionally clean, spacious and beautifully appointed, with a large, very comfortable bed. Wonderful chateau with amazingly friendly hosts. We will certainly be back next time we are passing through

Charming bed and breakfast in a quiet village near Royan. Excellent breakfast, comfortable bed and very clean room. Hosts are extremely helpful. Pleasant lounge for guests to use downstairs with TV. Parking available on site.

Great stay in an idyllic location, and a helpful host.

A fabulous property and a superb restaurant.

One night stop over on way to airport, very pleasant stay

The staff were really helpful and the disabled room was well equipped. The breakfast was really good with all fresh fruit and breads and a great choice of accompaniments

Well located functional hotel. Easy parking outside. Friendly staff. Good shower and good sized room.

Stupendous rural location. Entirely walkable from the railway station and to various supermarkets/boulangerie although perhaps slightly easier with a car. Very approachable owners, together with a friendly dog. Pure chance that we managed to catch the owner early afternoon, because the official check-in was from 5 pm, but we had no knowledge of this because Hotels.com had not included it on their website! Very clean & clutter-free & definitely recommended :-)
