"Lovely place. Loads of space for us 4 families to spread out across the 2 separate houses. (Handy to put the teens in the end one on their own). Weather was very hot so we really appreciated the pool, the shade of the walnut tree and the Bluetooth speakers. A couple of extra parasols would have been great, but we managed fine. "After initially staying for 10 days we then went to the Dordogne for a week. I wish we’d have stayed here the whole time! Still you live and learn. The gite is very clean, well equipped with a lovely modern bathroom and kitchen with plenty of space to park your car. I have to say I’m a bit fussy, bringing my own bedding and towels but I didn’t need them here. The pristine white bedding and towels were changed every 5 days. "We had an amazing week in Lozay, the cottage is well equipped and has loads of character. We especially loved the little walled courtyard eating area. At night it lit up like a secret garden. Just gorgeous!!!!! I would definitely recommend the region, Saint Jean is a charming market town with a lovely local market on a Wednesday and Saturday morning. We also visited La Rochelle and Fouras. There was also a beautiful heated pool with surrounding garden to chill out in. Just lovely with a glass...

"Lovely three bedroomed gite in a small hamlet. Catherine and her husband were wonderful hosts and were very attentive without being intrusive. Fantastic L shaped pool, immaculate and clean. Gite Wass fully equipped and we highly recommend it, especially if you want the peace and quiet of the countryside."
