Lovely room with balcony and view of the beach. We were a little disappointed as room was not cleaned for the first few days and we had to request clean towels and toilet rolls to be brought to room. Management were very good and apologised. Location was perfect. On the whole a wonderful place to stay.

We stayed for 3 nights and had a relaxing break in this lovely seaside resport. The hotel is about a 4 minute walk from the seafront. It's opposite the railway station making it easy to get into La Rochelle (20 mins away) or a trip to Bordeaux for the day in the other direction. The trains are not noisy and the rooms are quiet. Breakfast at the hotel is a buffet breakfast around 15 Euros and it is superior to the breakfasts available at the seafront cafes. It's very good. The young guy on...

Nice property. Aircon very efficient (temp was in the 30’s) Nice indoor and outdoor pools. Staff were very helpful Excellent spa pool and massage jets.

Lovely hotel overlooking the beach. Room had a balcony where we ate breakfast. Staff all lovely and helpful. Coffee very good but then it is a tea room as well. Thoroughly enjoyable although we were only there one night. Wished we stayed longer.

Welcoming, unobtrusive staff and comfortable room. Good dinner and breakfast.

All the staff and the welcome was seriously first class and went way beyond even relais and chateau standards where we usually choose to stay. Very genuine and impressive. Deborah at breakfast deserves a special mention. As the hotel is mainly round a beautiful courtyard it could be a little noisy at times. Very comfortable bed and super linens. bath towels a little small. Would absolutely recommend. we had a wonderful stay and can’t wait to return

Well this place is truly a lovely place to stay, clean, fresh, new and the owner is very friendly. Lovely place big thumbs up.

Beautiful property, stylish decor and excellent hosts. Great location in the lovely town of Rochefort. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful. The pool was a very welcome amenity particularly in the heatwave!

Stunning property with a beautiful pool and the most stunning family room with connecting bathroom so we could stay close to our teens :) We only stayed one night, the four poster bed was so comfortable, the linnen sheets helped me sleep like a baby! There was a lovely room to watch tv or play games and the breakfast was lovely, wish we had stayed longer! Merci Valerie ❤️

Great place to stop when cycling the Velo Francette, everything you need, outdoor kitchen, swimming pool, outside space, comfortable beds and a very helpful owner.

Lovely little Hotel in an ideal location. Cecile was very friendly and helpful. All areas clean and tidy. Would happily stay again when visiting La Rochelle.

We had a wonderful stay at Chambre d'hôtes La Tillaie and would not hesitate to recommend it. The property has been beautifully renovated, combining character and charm with every modern comfort. Our room was exceptionally clean, spacious and beautifully appointed, with a large, very comfortable bed. We were fortunate to have a lovely room overlooking the garden, together with a small adjoining room for our daughter, which worked perfectly for our family. From the moment we arrived, we received...

Clean quite excellent location

Chose a stay in La Rochelle randomly, for a few civilised days by the sea (after being landlocked in the Charente with group of friends). A local friend warned us about the town being car hostile, and (especially during rugby tournament) extremely lively at night. We found Central Park just off the city centre, with a local parking (fairly essential if you are driving), and separated from the town by a beautifully maintained park area. Hotel clean, quiet, comfortable, and unostentatious, with a...
