"Basic hotel with good value and location in Saintes. Clean room and good beds. The owner is very friendly and wants to provide a good service."

"This is a former abbey partially converted to a hotel . There is an awesome cathedral on the property and the most unique musical carousel that allows you to play instruments as it turns. We had rooms with showers although there are also less expensive rooms with showers down the hall. The main commercial street with restaurants etc is a 10 minute walk. Free parking; no TVs. Extremely restful and charming."

Laurence nous a accueillis avec beaucoup de gentillesse et nous a partagé l’histoire de cette belle maison, restaurée et aménagée avec beaucoup de goût et, on le sent, beaucoup d’amour. Mention spéciale pour les petits-déjeuners, très complets, avec de bons produits et de jolies découvertes chaque matin, notamment les délicieuses confitures maison aux parfums parfois...
