The best time to visit Sarakina is during the spring (April to early June) and autumn (September to October) months.

These periods offer pleasant weather, with warm days and cooler evenings, ideal for exploring the region's natural beauty and historical sites without the intense heat of summer. Autumn brings a beautiful display of colours to the foliage, especially around the Meteora rock formations, and is a great time for photography.

For those looking to avoid crowds and enjoy a more tranquil experience, late spring and early autumn are particularly good. The main tourist season is July and August, when temperatures can be very high and popular attractions are at their busiest.
