Amazing spa

Beautiful old monastery, renovated to this lovely hotel. Great stuff eager to help and accommodate every need. Owsome pool

The hotel is quirky, charming and stunningly beautiful. If you want to completely relax and sit and admire a beautiful view go no further. Use of a car is almost essential and although the hotel is off the beaten track, there are good road links to sight seeing opportunities. My only slight negative would be the food. I can only imagine the chef is on a tight budget, which is a tremendous shame. The staff are very good and you are made extremely welcome.You do feel they are really interested...

The hotel was fabulous. Great staff and lovely breakfast. The town of Montefalco was beautiful. Small with an atmospheric square with restaurants and bars. Would recommend as a true taste of Umbria

What a nice gem. Absolutely stunning views from the terrace, great service, yummy food and a very nice room. So quiet at night. Loved it.

Great value, lovely grounds, perfect location for exploring Perugia. Loved the spa and breakfast was plentiful!

This is huge monastery with the fabulous furnishings intact. The place is spotless. It has a gorgeous catheral. The city is medium walk up a fairly steep road. You can also use your car and drive to the top of the hill and walk in to the city center

Fabulous hotel. Beautiful gardens & pool. The staff couldn’t do enough for you, they were incredibly helpful and always willing to help with anything and everything. I booked the honeymoon suite for 7 nights but didn’t realise it didn’t have a balcony so they moved us to a different room after the 2nd night. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you for making our stay so wonderful!!!

Staff were exceptional, very attentive and helpful. Food was great and rooms are newly refurbished and comfy Bathrooms a slightly different style than I am used to, however shower was v good

Se cercate un resort raffinato, elegante, con staff educato e disponibile, immerso nel verde e che offre relax e ottimo cibo, il resort Valle di Assisi è ciò che fa per voi. Abbiamo soggiornato per 4 notti nella camera deluxe. La cura nei dettagli è ciò che distingue il resort. Camera finemente sistemata, pulizia e ordine ovunque, ciò che viene fornito nei bagni ed di ottima qualità. Il punto di forza del resort è sicuramente la spa, non sembra nemmeno di essere in un resort vista la grandezza....

What a place ! Everything was fantastic! Sylvia goes above and beyond to make sure you have the most wonderful time. The accommodation is immaculate and comfortable,and the breakfast is delicious .. different every morning and all home made ! Thank you again for our time with you x

We stayed at Castello di Monterone for just one night. .. our wedding anniversary present to ourselves. The castle is as close to a vision of a fairytale with turrets and castellated roof terraces as you can get. We wandered through the hotel and out onto the roof to admire the wonderful views, inside we loved seeing gorgeous old furniture and suits of armour, found a little library area too. Ilenia, the owner was excellent and even picked us up from the train station with her son Paolo. Our booking had apparently been cancelled by Expedia/ Hotels.com but she gave us a fantastic room and recommendation for dinner. Breakfast was delicious and it is a beautiful hotel with wonderful views. Trevi 5/5 stars but booking was huge let down. We await to see if we get our money back.
