"The location was excellent just next door to Maya so access to the beach is easy. At this time though the gang access from Parigata was closed andunder construction so we just walked next door to thebeach from Maya. All staff were excellent, from reception to Jack taking our bags and to Luh at the restuarant. Location is excellent. See you next time. "

"Villa Puri Ayu has a lot going for it: It's in a pretty good location. You're just outside the busiest area of Sanur so you won't get a lot of foot traffic, but you're close enough to walk toward that area (and the mall) if you really want to (30-ish minute walk). There's quite a few shops to buy souvenirs and a supermarket nearby. Breakfast is provided and is pretty good but had the same dishes. Plenty of restaurants nearby, and my room had a functional kitchen with a medium sized fridge. The rooms are spacious, there are a few pools to swim/sunbathe. Honestly overall really good at their price point, but there are a few things that may affect your decision to stay here: The air conditioning in room was pretty weak, it can feel a bit warm/humid throughout the day in the villa, especially when the sun is out. Had some trouble sleeping because of this. Some things are a bit worn/old. It took a lot of effort to lock my door every time I leave since it doesn't line up properly without some adjusting, and my bathroom door was creaky and noisy to open. The road it is on does not lead directly to the beach, you'll need to walk around another way. Not a whole lot of service from the staff, no phone in room to call the front desk either. In summary, it's excellent value but can be pretty different from a typical hotel/resort stay."

"Great hotel in central Sanur. Location fabulous, short walk to Icon Mall and so many fabulous restaurants within 5 minutes walk. Hotel is well maintained, the pool is a highlight. Beds comfortably, I could only book 2 twins, but they pushed them together. Very good sleep. Breakfast variety and quality 5 star. 10 minute walk to beach. Nice big long clean beach and walkway. Highly recommended if in Sanur."
