The Casa Conde is a charming, historical building. We were on 3rd floor and had to carry our luggage upstairs - good workout! The room was very quaint and clean. Unfortunately it didn’t have air conditioning or a television set. We missed the a/c as it was hot during our visit. Breakfast was provided and was very well done.

This is a very well maintained and managed Boutique Hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They provided excellent service and city guidance. The breakfast was truly delightful. A wonderful chance to stay and experience life within the city of Santiago.

Staying at Casa Conde was like staying in your own home. The staff bent over backwards to accommodate every need I had and went above and beyond to absolutely ensure that I had a superior experience. I could not recommend Casa Conde highly enough.

The bed was comfortable, the neighborhood was quiet, the hotel was clean, and the staff was amazing. They were friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. It was close to the metro. It was as described, a throwback to old world Santiago. Therefore, there was no air-conditioning or TV. But there was a fan, plenty of hot water, quality food for breakfast, and amazing staff. They really cared about helping me plan my stay and making sure that I had a safe and fun trip in Santiago. The location was great. It is in an historic part of town. Very little traffic. There are no elevators so if you cannot climb some stairs, this is not for you. Otherwise, I highly recommend it for a different experience than staying in big hotels that are similar all over the world. I was there for six nights and I would go back.

This is a tough review to write. There is lots to love about Casa Conde and I'll identify some of them … but we wouldn't stay there again and u wish I knew these things before we booked there. My wife and I stayed two nights in late January, as we were passing through Santiago. The positives: wonderful resident owners who really seemed to care about their guests. An interesting property, a grand old house converted. A delicious and varied breakfast. A location very close to the metro and within easy walking distance of many sights. Quite reasonable priced. Clean and everything worked. Our room was very quiet. Not so good: the building is old and built for residential use. The floors squeak, a lot. You hear movement overhead. Our room was quiet in part because the windows faced air shafts, so there was no view and no breeze. Possible deal breaker: there's no a/c so if you are staying in hot weather you had better be okay with a very hot room. Our room was much hotter than the corridor even. They did supply a large floor fan when I asked, which made it bearable, just. The definite deal-breaker: guests are locked in. I don't believe you can get out of the building without the staff coming down two floors to unlock the front door. We had an early flight and needed to leave early; there were no staff visible. I saw a set of keys so I took them down and was able to unlock three separate locks to be able to exit. The hotel no sprinklers visible; it looks like a fire hazard.

First of all, we thank you for choosing us for your stay in Santiago. The Hotel is a restored and reconstructed building. It is 100 years old, made of adobe and wood. To preserve the essence of its architecture, we have decided to keep the original floor of the house. We are currently working to incorporate air conditioning in our Hotel, which, being a PATRIMONIAL HOUSE, is complex to intervene.On the other hand, it is true that our staff is in charge of escorting you every time you enter or leave the building, which is not an impediment for guests to take the liberty to leave and return at times of their convenience.Your early departure was not planned or announced to our staff. Something that left us confused because you had scheduled breakfast at 08:00 am. Our staff member on duty was preparing the breakfast reception in the dining room at the time you made your early and unannounced departure at 6:15am. Regarding your comment that there are no visible sprinklers, I would like to inform you that every time you went to your room or left your room, you passed by a red box of 80 x 80cm that contains the fire hose and that is in accordance with the safety requirements of our hotel, approved by SERNATUR.We take your constructive criticism with responsibility and every day we are working to make your stay and experience at Casa Conde Boutique Hotel the best and unique, compared to other hotels in the market. Different and good
We stayed here at the beginning and end of our Chilean trip. Not your average hotel - no tv or AC, but an elegant old home in an interesting area. Having to call staff to enter or exit seemed a possible problem, but the staff were invariably prompt, even when we had a 4 am departure. Nice to have a cup of tea or cold water in the afternoon in the beautiful old dining room. Staff consistently friendly and helpful.

Flavia at the property helped make our vacation. She greeted us at midnight with our late flight. She secured taxis and ubers for early excursions. She greeted us with a smile when she made our breakfast each day and the food was great.

Okay, honest review - if you are looking for the following: - fancy flat screen tv - air conditioning (temperature when we were there was 34 degree C) - in room coffee/tea facilities then this isn’t the hotel for you. On the other hand if you want: - the personal touch from the most helpful, friendly and informative staff I’ve ever met in a hotel - staff with excellent English - an immaculately clean, quirky and individual hotel - convenience for some great restaurants - a hotel dog!! then this IS the place for you 😀 I’d highly recommend this place for your stay in Santiago.

Friendliest staff ever
Super friendly staff. The y can give you a prepaid metro card to start your stay as metro station is 200 meters away. Very quiet location although very close to the main Avenida O'Higgins.

The staff at Casa Conde could not have been nicer. They were all very helpful, gracious and kind beyond words. The breakfast was delicious, including warm croissants, rolls, cheese, ham, fresh fruit, juices, cafe, and cereal. The room was perfectly clean and quiet, and the bed was very comfortable.

Centrally located and really very charming. The customer service was excellent as was the included breakfast. One note is that for security purposes the staff let you in and out each time which was not inconvenient, just something to note.

Stayed here for 3 nights during my stay in Santiago. They were absolutely wonderful! The previous reviews said no one spoke English, but multiple people in the hotel spoke English including the owner Alfredo who was extremely helpful. They immediately provided me with a map, with recommendations on things to do and restaurants. The employees that do not speak English were more than happy to use google translate to help. A travel issue occurred during my trip and the owner was more than happy to stop his day to help resolve my issue and communicate for me. I will say this place is an older house and the hallways (creaky) and doors can be loud- was easy to hear people talking in the hallway. This was not an issue during my stay and in general it was very quiet, but as a courtesy would not stay here if you plan to be out late/enjoy the bar scene, as coming in late at night might be loud to other patrons.

Small, family run hotel conveniently located in downtown Santiago within five minutes walking distance to the Republica Metro station and Los Heroes Metro station, which is also the terminus of the Centropuerto bus from the airport. The hotel is a restoration by the owners and the rooms were spacious, quiet and very comfortable. Breakfasts were amazing, continental in style but the individually cooked ham and eggs, including the Casa Conde eggs cooked by the owner Alfredo were exceptional. Staff were very friendly, helpful, and welcoming throughout our two stays. Everyone greeted us like we were family and went out of their ways to help us and made our stays that bit more memorable and personal. If you like small hotels with personality and charm, I highly recommend this hotel when visiting Santiago.

The family that runs this hotel has done a FANTASTIC job. This cozy and antique house has a few rooms, giving it a very warm and personal feel. I had a hot breakfast every morning. Conversing with each person there was a delight as well, because their service was wonderful and they made me feel so welcome, helping with any questions I had. They allowed me to do an early check-in and a late check-out. Also, the hotel is very close to a metro station, making it a convenient location for your stay in Santiago. If I could rate this place 10 stars, I would. If I am ever in Santiago again, this is where I will be staying!

OMG the staff at this beautiful boutique hotel was absolutely amazing. La gente en este hotel era muy amiable y increible!! The breakfast was beyond wonderful every day. I left feeling like the staff was my family and I even got a little teary-eyed saying goodbye. Very comfortable bed and beautiful big bathroom with gorgeous tile. It is an old building so be prepared for some creaks in the floor from upstairs and it is a quiet neighborhood overall with a quick 10 minute walk to La Moneda and everything else you can get to from there. It might not be for a first time traveler expecting a front desk and everything but it is certainly amazing and worth it for the rest of us. I took Ubers back to hotel a lot when I was out exploring the city so there is easy access for that. Adios Flavia y Manuela your service and friendliness was exceptional and I also loved meeting and talking to the owner - a very sweet accommodating lady. They let me check in at 8:30am and since my flight left at 10pm they let me check out at 5pm. I cannot wait to go back again hopefully next year.

Friendly Folks
I stayed here nine nights as part of a South America vacation and thoroughly enjoyed it. Both the owners and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. With the metro being just a block or so away, it was easy getting around Santiago from this location.

A charming boutique
Convenient location once you got your bearing, walking distance to central attractions or metro stations, easy access to airport shuttle bus was a nice surprise. Service was so attentive and breakfast was nice, very quiet and comfortable after trekking in the Patagonia region. Highly recommended.

Warmest Chilean welcome you could hope for
From the outside you could almost miss this hotel but it is a true gem in Santiago. The interior gives you a true Santiago experience, transporting you to a world of poets and lazy siestas. The owners and staff are a delight and go above and beyond to help you, even if their English is not the best. The surrounding area is safe and walkable and adds to the authenticity of the experience of staying here. Cannot recommend enough.

Hotel Boutique Casa Conde is a lovely place to stay and I would recommend it above anyplace in Las Condes. It's a B&B style hotel in a beautifully restored building in a quiet neighborhood downtown. I was served a delicious breakfast while my host played classical guitar. I will definitely stay there next time I go to Santiago. The rooms are small but I didn't mind that one bit.

Great location close to the metro and many sites and restaurants. What really made this place exceptional was the service. The owners took care of us like family. They helped us find free parking and walked with us so we wouldn't get lost. Patricia was always taking care of our slightest need. They provided travel information. The breakfast was excellent. We had one vegan who they accommodated. Other staff, Manuela and others were also super nice and helpful. Would definitely recommend

The best hotel and authentic experience in Chile
This was the cleanest, most welcoming hotel we experienced during our 2 weeks traveling in Chile including Patagonia, Valparaiso, Santa Cruz the wine regions, and Santiago. The hotel is a historic building in a quiet historic neighborhood within 5 minutes walk to a Metro Station. The host welcomes you as friend and family and serves you his perfectly cooked secret recipes egg for breakfast.

The owners and staff were so helpful & friendly. Extras like making us tea and cookies in the evening & getting up early to make expresso before we departed. The owner made us feel like family and made us a wonderful egg dish in addition to the fabulous, fresh breakfast of fruits, breads, meat, cheese and coffee. They arranged a taxi for our departure and gave us excellent recommendations for restaurants. It was clean, modern, central for walking and very safe.

The best place I stayed. Love to travel and I traveled around the world. The owners kept the place clean and the service es excelente. The breakfast was amazing “huevos a la Conde”. Way better then a 5 start hotel.

Excellent Hotel/B&B. Staff/Owners are wonderful. Excellent Breakfast. The only thing I would change is the low quality soap. Comfortable bed, nice policies, etc. I would definitely stay here anytime I'm in Santiago.
