We were unlucky with the weather so there was rain which dripped on to our bedding (bell tent) and the road in and out of the camp were clay mud making it tricky to move the car. The pitches were lovely but very close to one another. Quite a trek to the loos and showers (which were cold water in the am). However, they were clean. Seemed lots of long-standing residential camping with plots not always well maintained. The location makes this campsite. Breakfast is not available on a Sunday morning! Showers majority were clean, but took a good 15/20 mins to get warmish water to come through, Toilets were clean not place fault, if people can’t flush a chain. My only 2 major issues were noise and there’s no safe, quick, easy access to toilets, from bell tents. Maybe need a set of toilets putting up there. I was a little miffed that the kids play area wasn’t open and not informed. Short walk to swanage 1.5 miles easy walking, for restuarants. We used this as a base for walking.
