"Casa D’aria is a quaint and lovely place for a vacation set in an ideal location in Catania. The eclectic style of the entire building is so interesting and homey. We had excellent communication with the owners leading up to our check in. The room was massive! With the comfiest bed tucked up on a loft. We made use of the full kitchenette and our room even had a washer to do our laundry. The rooftop communal terrace was a great place to enjoy a bottle of wine and listen to the sounds of Catania....

"Had a 3 day visit in Sicily: one day in Catania, second day visited Taormina and 3rd visited Syracuse. The Ferrini home appartment is a small, modest and confortable. For families with up to 2 children is a very good choice."

"The host was communicative and very friendly and helpful. We arrived late, but he did not complain about having to meet us so late. He was helpful with suggestions of places to eat nearby and things to do and see. It is about a 15-minute walk from the train station and about 10-15 minutes from the main tourist area of the city. The apartment was spacious and clean, and the host had provided some cold drinks in the fridge and some breakfast pastries. The air conditioner cooled the place well."

"Christian and all the staff were really nice, courteous, caring, kind & hospitable. We were worried about the "wooden plank" and river comments in a few reviews. While it should be properly fixed, there was really no issue. We stayed on the top floor and we are tall so I will have to say don't stay on the top floor if you're tall! "Cousins, my daughter, and I came to Sicily to find our roots in a small village. We fell in love with Catania and the hotel was perfect! Everyone involved was so helpful and lines of communication were efficient, friendly, and professional. So grateful for this great place to stay. "

"Property was as described. Excellent location, with good beds and amenities. Our host/owner Furio was responsive and offered excellent advice. Train station was a short drive for travel to Siracusa and later to Salerno. Easy access to Etna wine region and nearby towns. We stayed 3 nights which was our only regret as we should have stayed longer."

"Unser 14 tägiger Urlaub war sehr erholsam. Die Wohnung liegt in einer kleinen Anlage und entspricht genau der Beschreibung. Man benötigt aber auf jeden Fall ein Auto. Die Wohnung war auch bestens ausgestattet, auch eine Waschmaschine ist im Bad! Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter Mario Korico war sehr angenehm und zuverlässig. Da unser Heimflug erst abends startete, durften wir auch später auschecken. Alles in allem, sehr fein und vielen Dank Gabriele"

"The authentic Italian apartment was amazing. Right across the street from a grocery store. Has 3 small balconies. Communication with the property owners has limited hours only to 6pm and then 8pm with customer service so with a 6hour time difference (during initial booking) it was a bit of a delay sometimes. Having said that they were very helpful and accommodating. I would definitely recommend this unit. "
