True 5* experience beyond what other 5* Hotels offer - certainly a special place to stay with amazing rooms in an amazing location. Great extras for Expedia members too

We spent 5 nights at the hotel, which lived up to expectation. The room was beautifully decorated with a comfortable four poster bed.
We could not fault the staff who were welcoming & attentive.
The bar & restaurants were excellent, the food was of a high quality and live music was played most nights of our stay.
The hotel was on the beach front and in easy walking distance to the city centre. There was even a complimentary car for local journeys.
The pool was small but to be...

A lovely well maintained property. I travelled with my young son (age 4) and I would say that the hotel is more for adults and the food/ amenities are not really for children. However, I knew this before booking the hotel and it didn’t take away from the experience. A special mention -Alejandro, who worked at the ground level restaurant-he always made my little boy and I feel special and well looked after. I would happily stay again the next time we are in Santa Monica.

Great hotel with large suites. Only drawback is poor descriptions of suite types. We would have liked a room with a view, but were at the back of the hotel and the small balcony was facing the apartment building behind. Its a converted apartment building with room access from an open courtyard with central pool. As all rooms are slightly different, they don't all have desks, so I ended up working on laptop balanced on a pile of books because no rooms with desks available. Annoying for a business...

Brilliant stay, the room was clean, tidy and provided with a coffee machine, safe and all the bits you could want for a comfortable stay.
The shower was amazing.
The balcony and view was a great addition, and the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly.
We will definitely be back to stay again

Great location for the beach and pier and downtown Santa Monica. The beach package of towels, boogie boards, chairs and umbrella was great, we had so much fun playing in the waves.
Pool was lovely, only gripe was that the lounge chairs are situated too close the the pool, which meant we got a lot of side eye and tutting when the kids splashed whilst swimming.
Room was clean and plenty big enough for a family of 4. Our room overlooked the main street and there was some noise but on the whole it...

The second we got out of our car we new we were in for a fantastic weekend stay. Class class all the way from registration to the room, through the grounds to a well appointed room with patio. All mod cons. Fantastic service, Thank you Hotel Bel Air for your attention to detail and our requests we made celebrating my wife's birthday.t

It’s a really nice hotel, it’s actually in a very safe part of Rose, but I wouldn’t call anywhere in Venice walkable (personally), the team were super helpful, the parking is fantastic, rooms were quiet, I will definitely base myself here again in future. Personally I think the suite is well worth the upgrade

Excellent hotel! We were upgraded to a suite, which was stunning! The staff were professional, friendly and helpful. We stayed at 6 hotels on our family California trip this was the only one that measured up to the images on expedia. The hotel is near busy roads but we couldn't hear a thing in our room despite the suite having at least six large windows and wrapping round the side of the building.
