For what I paid per night, I would have expected far, far more. Even in NYC or SFO there would be more value and (often) amenities. But I chose the hotel for the location so that was my call.
We didn't have a quiet's night stay at all because the homeless population is in a park across the street and a boombox was on all night long, but that's not the hotel's fault.
To me, the biggest concern was lack of friendliness. Neither at check in nor check out did anyone seem to give a care at all we were there: No welcome, no thank you, no drive safely, no please come again. Just flat. The only -- and I mean only -- staff member who was pleasant was an Aussie who gave me some extra Keurig pods. I don't think it's unreasonable, given newer and nicer hotels all up and down the street, for the management/staff to be a bit welcoming.
