An absolutely beautiful property just a quick walk to the stunning beach. Loved our room so much. And the special touch from the staff when we mentioned we were celebrating an engagement they set up the bed dressed with flowers. Thank you!

This is a unique, beautiful and friendly place. Truely one of a kind. A few other hotels near the beach are bigger and seem newer, but were shoulder to shoulder with people and lacked the rich character of Xquenda. I will definitely stay here next time I'm in Huatulco.

It was worth the price. Close to the beach and restaurants. The tennis courts with children screaming every twenty seconds was the worst part and it only lasted a few hours. The people were great.

Near a beach and a park, the rooms are spacious with large king beds and great brick, tile, and stone finishes. Good pool, and of course cracking good massage services. Very friendly owner and staff made our stay excellent. Will return soon.

The property is beautiful and unique, with very friendly staff. Barbara who greeted me and checked me in was very kind and took the time to give me a little introduction of the area. Fidel who seemed to run the place was extremely attentive, kind, and lovely to chat to, a consummate professional. The location is wonderful with many beaches and dining options within walking distance. The rooms are very basic, (no mini fridges or drawers for your clothes for example) but they are clean and uniquely decorated. Washrooms are nice, but note the water does not get hot in the showers. Some of the amenities listed on Expedia did not match what they had. There was no indoor pool or gym as listed and unfortunately the outdoor pool was not in shape to swim in as it was very murky. Wifi doesn’t work in the rooms and barely works in the communal areas so don’t plan to do a work trip there but is otherwise nice to unplug. Breakfast was nice, made fresh to order and is $150 peso with coffee and juice. The staff are all so lovely and the grounds are beautiful. I had requested a room with an ocean view as I thought it was on the beach and was told I would get an ocean view but it’s not actually on the beach and there are no views of the ocean from the hotel, but it’s only about a 1 minute walk to get to the water. Chahué beach has strong waves & gets deep fast but if you’re a decent swimmer it’s fine once you’re past the surf. Santa Cruz where the water is calmer is a 25 min. walk.

El personal es muy amable . El hotel es bonito y limpio . Se encuentra muy cerca a la playa . Lo que mejoraría sería el internet no llega hasta las habitaciones El agua caliente en una de las dos habitaciones nunca salió . Y no hay en el hotel donde comprar alguna bebida tienes siempre que salir si necesitas algo.

Hotel Xquenda es perfecto para pasar unas vacaciones de relajación. Es muy cómodo, limpio, tranquilo. El personal es muy amable y respetuoso de la tranquilidad de los huéspedes. En particular disfruté poder nadar en la magnífica alberca. Nadar de verdad. Ya que en otros hoteles las albercas son solamente para chapotear. Espero ansiosa poder regresar. Pues es tranquilo, la propiedad está limpia y la recámara también. Está tranquilo solo que parece un poco alejado y no hay mucho iluminación en la noche en la propiedad. Ahora si dejaste olvidado algo en la recámara donde te hospedaste , olvídalo porque no creo que lo reporten las de la limpieza y te lo entreguen. Dejamos olvidado un monitor de aire , solo un par de días y al parecer nadien reportó ni vio nada por consiguiente no pudimos recuperarlo.. que lástima
