Excellent villa

Fantastic villa on the edge of Funchal with great sea views and a lovely pool. Great indoor and outdoor spaces and sea views from all of the bedrooms and living areas. Local bars and restaurants within a 10 minute walk and easy access to the sights of Madeira.

Wonderful holidays.

Perfect service. Some problems with ants, which are on the whole island. But MHM cares for everything. We will come back. On arrival some water in the refrigator. Fireplace unusable. Audio - technique difficult to use. TV should usable for foreign guests.

We spent a wonderful week at this villa in September. It’s in a great location just 15 minutes’ drive to the airport in one direction and 15 minutes to the centre of Funchal in the other. The villa is right by the sea with spectacular cliff-top views from the garden and all rooms in the villa. It’s just as shown in the photos – a beautiful, spacious contemporary villa. The MHM team were great from the moment we booked online. They accommodated a modification to the original booking with no problem, were there to meet us and show us around the villa when we arrived, kept in contact during our stay and were happy to allow us a late checkout with no extra charge as we had an evening flight. We enjoyed our first holiday in Madeira very much and hope to come back to Villa Chimera again one day.

Fantastisch verblijf

-Mooie woning met meerdere zit en ligplekken om te ontspannen. -Schoon bij aankomst. -Prachtig uitzicht. -Mooi en goed zwembad. -Buitenhaard waar we veel plezier van hebben gehad met bbq-en. -Filterkoffiezetapparaat, dit was voor ons een teleurstelling. Bij zo'n mooi huis, hoort een goed apparaat. -Keuken was verder groot en volledig. -Handdoeken weinig aanwezig, en de handdoeken die aanwezig waren bevatte bleekwatervlekken. Hier hebben wij echter niet over gebeld, wellicht was het dan opgelost. Nu hebben wij zelf handdoeken aangeschaft in de supermarkt. -Supermarkt dichtbij en restaurants. -Een strandje is te belopen tot de kabelbaan naar beneden (kiezelstrand). -De bedden waren naar onze smaak niet erg comfortabel. het dekbed synthetisch wat niet goed ademt. Maar dit is persoonlijke smaak. -Airco in elke ruimte was een grote luxe. -Jammer dat er geen omschrijving lag van de afstandsbedieningen betreft tv en multimedia en grote apparatuur bv. -Bij vragen of onduidelijkheden was MHM snel aanwezig om dit op te lossen; dit was erg prettig. -Ik zou nog een keer dit huis bezoeken als we naar Madeira gaan.

Un séjour de rêve

La villa est située à quelques mètres d'une falaise qui donne sur la mer, si bien que la vue, du jardin, des balcons, des chambres et de la terrasse devant le salon et la cuisine, est magnifique. Une des salles de bains a un mur en vitre qui donne sur la chambre, de sorte qu'on peut voir la mer en prenant sa douche. L'endroit est très calme, dans la petite ville de Caniço, qui a tous les commerces dont on peut avoir besoin. MHM a des collaborateurs très gentils et disponibles, qui fait preuve de toute la flexibilité dont on avait besoin pour le check-in et le check out ainsi que pour des serviettes supplémentaires.
