The staff were very friendly. The restaurant was very good. We liked the open air nature of the restaurant/bar. We especially enjoyed the pool and hot tub and lounge chairs. It was very relaxing sitting around the pool and ordering drinks and food. The room was spacious and very quiet.

The hotel was very clean, and my family and I had a wonderful stay. We especially enjoyed the swimming pool and the hot tub—they were both amazing and very well maintained. The overall atmosphere of the hotel was welcoming, relaxing, and peaceful, which made our visit even more enjoyable. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

Looks like an older motel with a cosmetic face-lift. Ceiling of room had cracks. Walls were thin. I immediately regretted not paying $50 more for La Bahia. On the bright side, they let us check in early and the wait staff at the pool/restaurant was great.

The reason I am giving this hotel 2 stars is because our room smelled like mildew. The air conditioner was too noisy. There was a fight next room to us. A woman was yelling “help me”. We couldn’t get the room’s phone to work to call the front desk. So, we called the police. The pool area was very nice. Staff are friendly.

One of the nicer hotels to stay in Santa Cruz. Loved the vibe, decor, and how kid/dog friendly this property is. The rooms are a little bit worn and outdated and there were some updates that probably need to be made to the hotel itself. The pool and amenities were nice. VERY expensive parking, food, and drinks - although the room booking itself was reasonable. No outside food or drinks are allowed, so just note that you'll be spending a lot hanging out at the hotel.

The hotel had a very quirky feel about it. From the outside of the building, it looks akin to a nightclub. The rooms were a decent size and tastefully decorated. Starbucks coffee pods were a nice treat. The pool & jacuzzi were first rate. The pool did get overtaken by children screeching and screaming from quite early in the day through til late afternoon, but that’s not a criticism of the hotel. But it would have been nice to have had a swim without the children dive bombing into the pool constantly. Perhaps an adult only swim time before 10am and after 5pm would be welcomed. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They were first rate. I enjoyed my stay very much. Recommended.

The staff were super friendly in the restaurant. The property and common areas were beautiful. Our room was a little smelly and could have used some attention. We would stay again though. It felt safe and convenient to walk downtown and the boardwalk.

Stayed here for my kids tournament games and decided to stay a few days as a mini vacay. Kids loved the jacuzzi and pool. I really like how they offered popcorn & s’mores. Staff was super friendly and accommodating. Will stay here next time I come visit.
