Frequently asked questions

What is the best area to stay in Sant Isidoro?
The best area to stay in Sant Isidoro is directly on the waterfront, particularly along the stretch of coastline near Spiaggia di Sant'Isidoro.

This area is the heart of Sant Isidoro's appeal, known for its pristine sandy beaches and clear, shallow waters. You'll find a selection of hotels and holiday rentals with direct beach access or just a short walk to the shore. The main road running parallel to the beach, Viale Sant'Isidoro, is where you'll find the majority of local amenities, including a few restaurants and cafes.

Families with young children will find this area particularly convenient. The shallow waters of Spiaggia di Sant'Isidoro are ideal for safe swimming and paddling, and the proximity of accommodation to the beach means less hassle with carrying gear. Many properties here offer amenities like self-catering facilities, making family holidays more comfortable.

Couples looking for a relaxing beach holiday will also appreciate staying right on the waterfront. You can enjoy strolls along the shore, dine with sea views, and easily access boat trips or watersports activities.
When is the best time to go to Sant Isidoro?
The best time to go to Sant Isidoro is during the shoulder seasons of May, early June, and September.

These months offer pleasant weather, with warm temperatures superb for enjoying the beaches and outdoor activities without the intense heat and larger crowds of the peak summer months. You'll find the sea is warm enough for swimming, and the local restaurants and shops are fully open.

For those looking for a lively option and don't mind higher temperatures and more people, July and August are also good options. This is the height of the Italian holiday season, so you'll experience Sant Isidoro at its most bustling, with many events and activities taking place. However, prices for accommodation and flights will be at their highest during this period.

If you prefer a quieter trip and are less concerned with swimming, April and October can also be lovely. The weather is milder, ideal for exploring the local area or enjoying long walks along the coast.
Can I cancel my hotel reservation on Expedia?
You can cancel your hotel reservation on Expedia, though it depends on the cancellation policy of your booking. Most bookings are refundable if canceled within 24-48 hours of the scheduled arrival. Be sure to check your booking confirmation for the exact cancellation policy. If free cancellation is available, you can cancel directly through your Expedia account by logging in, going to "My Trips", and selecting your reservation. To find flexible deals, filter your search by "Fully refundable property" for hotels in Sant’Isidoro.
How much is the nightly rate at a Sant’Isidoro hotel?
Prices for hotels in Sant’Isidoro often vary, but you can find a great deal from £35 on Expedia. All sorts of factors affect price, such as the time of year or the days of the week you choose for your stay. Find the best deals by being flexible with your dates, and sort search results by "Price: low to high" for the cheapest rate.
