good for the price
we booked a standard room. the view of the room was the sea. nice sunrise! the room was on 2nd floor. Good things: there is free parking. however it is nearly the yard of hotel and it is not guarded but it is good to have the car in the yard of the hotel for free. the price was good. the restaurant has a fantastic view! also the breakfast is comprehensive and you have alot of options with a very nice staff. the toilets in the room was clean and nearly renovated. there was also travel shampoo for guests. bad things: the room was very basic. there is not any fridge or kettle or anything (maybe in upgraded rooms you can find them.) the room it self was not so clean but it was nearly comparable to the price. hair dryer was working but it was dirty. there is ac in the room but it's power is cut. also there is a radiotor works by central heating. so nearly there is not any option to control the temperature. overall: absolutely comparable to the price. in my opinion based on the free parking, breakfast and view, it worth it. maybe it is worthing to pay a bit more for the upgraded room if you need to stay more than 1 night.

Good nightThank you very much for your opinion, it is important to us.The standard rooms do not have a minibar, but if you wish, you can rent one, the superior rooms, it is included, the rooms, before being delivered to the clients, are inspected by the hotel housekeeper, if, as you say, it was not clean to your liking, you should have communicated it to have taken the appropriate measures, the air conditioning only works during the summer months, the heating radiators have a wheel that customers can move, depending on whether they want more or less heat.We are sorry that some details were not to your liking, we will continue to strive to improve.Kind regards

You cannot make a first impression twice - the receptionists certainly are not people who make you feel welcome nor are they helpful. No welcome Sir/Madam, can I have you passports - just a grunt and a snort. No welcome water. It is a farce that this hotel is actually a school for Hotel Management lol!! You cannot get a taxi in the morning but the receptionist failed to mention the ease of the train close by, having managed to find a taxi for €50 for less than 2kms. The rooms are dated, bathrooms disgusting, air condition temperamental and dirty, no security on the patio doors, beds and linen cheap and uncomfortable. Be advised the restaurant is a training camp for the school.... breakfast was marred by the fact the smoking area is directly outside the door and thus you have a smell of cigarettes. I could continue but having read previous reviews and seen that the state of the hotel has been like this for a while, the owners and management are not interested.

Good nightWe are sorry that you did not enjoy your stay, as it is a School Hotel and is open throughout the year, not all the renovations can be done at once, but they are being renovated gradually.Last Sunday, from very early until 7 pm, the road was closed to traffic for the Ironman competition. The students who study here are in charge of serving in the restaurant. The linens in the rooms are renewed quite regularly.We appreciate your comments so we can continue to strive to offer and improve the service.Kind regards

The location was not as we expected, view is not as good as the photo's. And you have to have good legs to walk to the beach. The staff is very kind and helpful. That s the reason we left with a happy face.

Would not recommend - Disappointing
This is a student run hotel. We didn't know before arrival. Students very pleasant and tried hard. Problem was the noise. Lots of laughter and talking into the early hours - sounded like a school playground. So difficult to get to sleep. Restaurant - waitresses very good but too many of them (more than guests most of time) had little to do so everything rushed as they watching and plates removed the instant you stopped eating. No wine glasses on table - no wine list - only drink offered was water. Food - buffet starter good - main course choice 2 fish -1 meat. We chose beef grilled - full of fat and tough which had small spoon of mashed potato with it the whole course was cold as if been sitting around for some time before serving. Would have sent it back but didn't want fish and didn't want another tough piece of meat. Very disappointed. Rooms have no sound proofing - guests in next room sounded like they in same room as us when they were talking and when they went to sleep the man's snoring was so loud. The description says sea view from balcony but neglects to say a row of apartments are between the hotel and the sea. The roof of the apartments are lower than the balcony from the rooms so you can see the sea but when you look down you just see ugly roof terraces of the apartments. Would never go back to this hotel. Very disappointing and for the money charged would expect better.

Location was excellent, overlooking the sea, near a number of beaches. Beside the train station, 5 min walk, up a bit of a hill. Trainee waiters as it is attached to a University, food excellent value. Excellent 3 star Hotel

This is an old hotel that has just got a recent lick of paint. The furnishings are still old . The hairdryer was wall mounted and like something from the 1950’s (you could dry your hair faster by blowing on it!) the fridge did not very well (icy on the top but not cold at the bottom). When my daughter tried to have a shower there was no hot water and she had to have a cold one after her trip to the beach. The breakfast is very basic (although they did cook eggs for us when we asked). We will not return and can’t recommend it.

Really like this village and good stay.
Not many choices of hotels here. In fact may be the only hotel. Just know that to get to the beach it’s about 90 steps. Clean. Nice people. It’s a teaching hotel so lots of students but all quiet and nice. There is a lift. Stayed 3 nights. All rooms have an ocean view with a patio. They even have a refrigerator which is not always the case in Spain and complimentary soda and water. Sweet village.

Unspoilt, delightful small town
Lovely beach in an attractive, unspoilt small town. A small number of places to have food and drink - all good and pleasant. Hotel pool a dream and restaurant real quality.

Perfectly located hotel in quiet town with superb evening restaurant. Wonderful beach and great coastal railway links to Barcelona and Gerona. On site free parking.

Nice hotel in a nice little town. Room is ok. I think the beds could get an upgrade as they feel old and hard. The restaurant has great food and the view of the Mediterranean is amazing. Comfortable stay for a fair price.

Nice comfortable hotel that needs renovation
My stay was nice overall. The staff is really friendly. The room is comfortable with an amazing view of the Mediterranean sea. The hotel itself needs some upgrading because it looks frozen in time, but all in all a pleasant stay for the money.

Water as far as one could see!
The hotel was perfect for our needs. The staff was friendly and most helpful. The hotel houses a culinary school so the breakfast was plentiful and varied. The hotel is located within easy walking distance to the train station. The beach is accessible but a walk from the hotel. The hotel has an outdoor pool that is very pleasant. All in all we couldn't have asked for better.

No coming back!!! apart from the beautiful view from balcony,there is not much. Dirty linen,room needed a good cleaning,except from one man at the restaurant,staff need to be trained on manners.

We had to changes our room 3 times as the A/C in the rooms did not work. Each time we changed the room the room was more uncomfortable and we were unable to settle down and have a proper sleep. The bathroom was not pleasant, it had marks on the toilet seats and the tub. The hotel needs major repairs,

Unbelievable value for a great place.
From the reviews I was concerned that the place would be just so so. But the view was wonderful and recent upgrades were very evident. After finishing the trip around France, Italy and Switzerland, this is one place we wished we had extended our stay, given ourselves more time to enjoy the vie, the hospitality and to get to know the area. Next time... but I am afraid by the next time people will be onto the value and these hoteliers will be able to command a better price, LOL.

En solo una noche tampoco se pueden sacar muchas conclusiones , personal suoer corecto en el trato y atención pero se ve un hotel antiguo , bien conservado x eso , pero en la habitación se oía todo lo q pasaba alrededor y en las demas habitaciones. Pedi cama grande y la verdad q no esperaba q fuera tan grande y cómoda, las vistas increibles. Conclusion ??... una renovqcion no iria mal xq el entorno donde esta ubicado hace q apetezca volver pero con otras instalaciones.

Très bel emplacement, toutes les chambres ont la vue sur la mer Le personnel est très agréable et compétent La gare est à 5 mn à pieds, ce qui est très pratique pour visiter Barcelone Et sans oublier le parking gratuit pour les clients

Buenos días Hotel en un enclave maravilloso. Se escucha mucho las habitaciones colindantes. Solicité salir 30 minutos tarde y querían que pagará 35€. Muy impersonal siendo un hotel tan pequeño, lógicamente, no nos quedamos.

Gefallen hat mir die Lage direkt vor dem Meer mit Sicht auf das Dörfchen, die wenigen, aber hervorragenden Imbisse im Dorf, die weiten Sandstränden in 3' Gehdistanz. Nicht Gefallen haben mir die dünnen Wände - man hörte wirklich einfach alles vom Nebenzimmer mit.

La limpieza fue aceptable porque no siempre reemplazaban todos los productos de limpieza y había sitios poco accesibles que se notaban sucios. Las instalaciones y el estado del alojamiento fueron muy buenas,pero se nota que las instalaciones y algunos sitios del alojamiento son viejos. Sin embargo,el personal es cordial con un trato que dan exquisito.
