We booked a 2 bedroomed apartment for just over 2 weeks. Was in building 3 on the 4th floor and loved the complex. The apartment was a lot bigger than ever imagined. Yes it could do with a little TLC but the pro's far outweighed that. Plenty of living space for us and the 2 kids. Both having ensuites and a 3rd toilet. Kitchen was well equipped. Views were spectacular. Room was one of the nicest we have stayed. And that 100’s Pool area was lovely. In fact I can’t fault the hotel in any department

Blown away with the size of it! We got a free upgrade on arrival (probably due to staying in a couple of Meriton hotels on our trip). Our room was the full length of the block with a balcony on either side. Had its on chill out room as well as living area, dining area and kitchen. 3 TVs for the 2 of us and enough space to swing a herd of cats. Great place and would definitely stay again

Very friendly and helpful staff.

Ideal spot for a relaxing stay. Rooms are spacious and well equipped. Restaurants and cafes at Chirn Park are excellent albeit 20 minute walk. Restaurants and Cafes at Broadwater and near Aqua Building are very good and only 10 minute walk. Extended our stay for an extra 2 weeks

Nice quiet position with good facilities; loved the sports complex with the crazy golf, gym, pool etc. 9.7 /10 due to air con hit and miss and no lower than 22 deg . Would recommend though

I liked this place so much I am still even now tempted to buy a unit!!! The staff were absolutely awesome, really lovely and would do absolutely anything to help you. The room had the most amazing view of anywhere I have ever stayed... so much so I sent my team a video of me sat drinking beer on the patio looking at the sea view. Great hotel with fantastic views, everything we needed for a few days in Surfers Paradise. If we stayed again we would head straight to the Meriton

Hotel is right on the beach with fantastic views of the Gold Coast from our very large balcony, we were on the 19th floor and the size of the one bedroom apartment was staging with every things you could wish for.

Beautiful hotel in a very beautiful place

We were unsure what to expect from our stay at Sunbird as we had opted for the cheapest room possible, but we're delighted when we opened the apartment to discover a very spacious 2 bedroom apartment. It had 270 degree views over the beach and the city. In addition, it was very clean and had all of the facilities, utensils etc as well as an australian version of sky+ with the sports channels. Absolutely delighted!

Stayed at the Dorsett Gold Coast with my girlfriend and we had an amazing stay. For the £130 I paid, the hotel felt like it should have cost a lot more considering how nice everything was. The room was modern, clean and comfortable, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was fantastic.
