The hotel suits travelers interested in a cosy non-standard hotel. The hotel is located in the old part of the city, close to all major attractions. Staff is excellent, and the two rooms in which we stayed were very quiet. Breakfast was very good and internet acces always worked.
Note that there are stairs In the room.
I picked hotel before arriving to Buenos Aires and was pleasantly surprised with the standard since it exceeded my expectations. Hotel is new, everything works as it should, rooms are nice with wide windows, bathroom perfect with shower and bidet, large screen Samsung TV. Quiet at night.
Pros: The staff is very helpful, speaks decent English. The room was neat, newly decorated, very spacious. Good breakfast. Excellent location.
Cons: Very slow internet connection. For early check in there is a significant additional fee (just for few hours).
We were well looked after. Very good breakfast. Comfortable beds and good facilitiies. Very attractive decor in a tango theme, attention to detail in a art nouveau themyt e.only criticism was the room was small.

We arrived to Buenos Aires and went straight to the hotel to drop off our bags. We ended up checking in and dropped of our bags without checking the room. The first room we stayed in had a broken AC unit which leaked water and also did no get cold (keep in mind it was almost summer and it's hot). We were then transferred to another room which had no fridge, no blow dryer and leaking shower but we ended up not caring since we were just sleeping for another night.
I would recommend you to check your room condition right when you check in.
The breakfast was great, it made up for the room. Overall, I would come back and stay in this hotel since it was located close to all the touristy locations.
This is a great location for touring, scenic with lots of nearby restaurants. The rooms are very large and comfortable and the staff are terrific. The big plus is the bar/restaurant downstairs, which has nice tapas type snacks available all the time and is very friendly. Fine for families or business or tourism.
Italian immigrants arrived in Argentina via La Boca, and it is where the city’s Little Italy took root. La Boca is also the birthplace of Argentine tango. This rich heritage is on display at El Caminito, an open-air market and museum. Nearby, San Telmo is one of the city’s better-preserved historical areas. Plaza Dorrego’s Sunday antiques market also hosts tango dancers and street performers.
