The staff, hotel, and restaurant were fantastic. The streets at night are a little bit uncomfortable in this neighborhood; however, we never felt in danger at any time. The only complaint I have is the time for the hot tub and pool. They close at 8 o'clock. We are used to hotels keeping the pool & hot tub areas open until at least 10 or 11.
The location is very close to the subway entrance and getting an official taxi is fast and easy. The staff were very helpful and spoke multiple languages. I think they all speak English.
"Moreno Hotel has the largest cleanest rooms in BA"
Have stayed at the Moreneo Hotel the last 9 years while going fishing in Argentina. The hotel is not in a beautiful location, but the hotel is indeed beautiful. Extra large spacious rooms and the staff goes out of its way to make your stay in Buenos Aires a pleasant one. The hotel is within walking idstances of shopping streets such as Florida and nearby great restaurants.
From checkin to checkout, we had a lovely experience at STLS! The location is perfect in San Telmo, one block away from the Sunday market and walking distance to many delicious restaurants. The room was amazing, 2 bathrooms with a living room downstairs and a king size bed in the loft. Very unique and beautiful. The staff was very helpful with directions and suggestions. I highly highly recommend this hotel!
Fabulous grand lobby greets you with uniformed doormen. The staff are gracious helpful and bilingual. I felt very comfortable staying there as a female alone.
The Delux rooms ( club rooms) above the 17 th floor have access to the lounge with a limited buffer. Breakfast was included in a reasonable price.
This is not an American 5 star hotel and its location was only good because my daughter lives in San Telmo
It was a good experience, that's what I can say. They changed my room for one on the first floor as they don't have elevator and I had heavy suitcases. The only thing is that it was a double room with single beds so that's probably the only thing that I can kinda complain about. But probably I can't get everything. The breakfast was great. I had a good amount to delicious food. It was very good in general, I would recommend it.
Italian immigrants arrived in Argentina via La Boca, and it is where the city’s Little Italy took root. La Boca is also the birthplace of Argentine tango. This rich heritage is on display at El Caminito, an open-air market and museum. Nearby, San Telmo is one of the city’s better-preserved historical areas. Plaza Dorrego’s Sunday antiques market also hosts tango dancers and street performers.
