Comfortable Beds

Posted 09-Jan-2017
Pros: Found on Expedia
Location: Beach, night markets, great BBQ.
My girlfriend and I were driving the PCH and were looking for a hotel that was inexpensive but also had comfortable beds. We saw a review that said the beds here were comfortable and they did not lie. This hotel had the most comfortable beds of any budget hotel that we have stayed in. I would 100% recommend this place for people who just need a one night stay on the PCH. The bathrooms are small and could use some updating, but for just an overnight stay this was the perfect hotel. The breakfast is scant, but once again if it is just for one night this place is perfect.

Dirty and the Breakfast has Costco Muffins

Posted 28-Dec-2016
Pros: the rooms bathroom
Cons: Everything else in the room needs to be replaced, walls painted, blinds replaced etc.
Location: Close to Downtown San Louis Obespo
Although the rooms are non smoking, there are ash trays available outside of every few hotel room door for smokers to smoke. Which they do and it smells of cigarette smoke as would be expected. The lobby smelled like curry upon check in. The bathroom had completely remodeled (floor to ceiling) that were very clean, aside from that the rest of the room was gross. We stayed optimistic until it was daylight and it shinned into reveal the holes in the blinds that we had closed over the windows. The breakfast had coffee, tea and costco muffins which i was happy about because I could trust the muffins. The cereal was stale though and plain cherrios - not honey nut.

Great hotel for cheap price

Posted 26-Dec-2016
Excellent experience. I've stayed here a couple of times with my girlfriend and we've enjoyed it every time. So close to the 101 south and north and downtown SLO.

Sehr günstig gelegenes Motel mit hohem Komfort

Posted 10-Dec-2016

Terrible experience, you get what you pay for

Posted 28-Nov-2016
Pros: not a thing
Cons: Hotel staff
Location: Off highway 101
One night stay on our way home. Toilet was clogged, called to ask for a plunger no one came up, used the toilet and it overflowed. Called the front desk again and the man/owner I assume came up angry and started saying that I was playing with the flusher...ridiculous! He handed me the plunger and I told him he needed to fix it. He sort of cleaned up with the towels and left. He had such a defensive attitude and accusatory tone that is not proper for a hotel host or staff. We paid for a clean room but did not feel like even touching the covers after that. I asked for another room but was told they were full. (I seriously doubted it) I was tempted to leave to another hotel but we had booked two rooms for our family and didn't want to incur the additional expense. A girl came up to our room to give us two towels and just threw them on my hands rudely. I do not recommend this hotel at all. I've stayed at cheap hotels before but the hosts or staff have hospitality skills. Terrible hotel experience.

Convenient dog-friendly location in SLO

Posted 27-Nov-2016
Conveniently located off the freeway with on ramp to 101 around the corner. Dog friendly (states $15 per dog per night on website, but allowed me to pay $40 cash for 2 nights for 2 dogs). Rooms have older original hardwood floors, newer tile in bathroom, good hot showers, free shampoo and soap, free wifi (but slower than just using my AT&T reception on my phone which came in strong here), free parking, chipped keycard entry, renovations going on during the day (pool under repair), free Costco style soft muffins/Raisin Bran & corn flakes and milk/OJ/coffee/tea/hot water in the morning, jack in the box right across the street, blocks from downtown SLO, beds were extremely soft (sinks in) and walls were thin (could hear guests next door and above), but usually only during waking hours, otherwise pretty quiet side street, nearby drive to all beaches and 1 exit away from the Madonna Inn and Hearst castle.
