Cons: Tear it down and start over, including the staff.
Location: About 5-6 minutes from downtown SLO, and the Cal Poly Campus
The outside of the hotel was kept clean which made the room a big disappointment. The room looked like it was clean, but the furniture was not. There were lots of oil stains and dirt on the chairs. Had to put a towel down to sit on the chairs. Fortunately it was only for one night. The advertisement on the web was also very misleading. When we booked the room it was about three times more from the advertised amount. The room was not worth the expense. I would never recommend anyone to stay there. The cliental was also less desired. In the early hours, they were running up and down the stairs. Very disturbing.

OK In a pinch for basic one night travel stop

Posted 21-Sep-2015
Pros: Clean linens
Cons: I am hoping that gradually the owners can replace cheap old towels, bedspreads and carpet. The small lobby will always be too small for any "breakfast
Location: Near fast food in a town with plenty of options
This clean place is convenient to the highway and food options along 101. It was also the only room in the area left at under $350 a night. Although the room was clean and had a nice wide area at the sink, there was something on the bathroom wall that disturbed me and that I could not remove easily. Towels and blankets are rough, old, lower quality, but clean. The walls had several areas of poorly repaired damage; carpet fraying; decor older; mattresses fine and clean in our room. The box springs were still wrapped in their shipping plastic rather than having a fabric cover on them. This place is not luxury but we needed a place to sleep. The morning complimentary breakfast is best skipped and the coffee, available only in the small lobby, is not tasty. Leaving the fan on the box A/C unit drowns out the highway noise. There was a very small m/w and an in room fridge. The small room would not have accommodated a crib or much luggage. I think that an obese person would have difficulty maneuvering in the small W/C since the toilet was set in max 30 inches width and one had to reach over it to access tub faucet.

Short walk to downtown nice staff clean rooms

Posted 29-Aug-2015
I'm just going to ramble here so that it will let me post the review, it was a pleasant experience but I don't have a story to tell about it. What can I say, it was a good value and a nice room. It seems strange that I can't read this place without typing a bunch of characters. It seems strange that I can't read this place without wiping a bunch of characters

Nice Hotel centrally located.

Pros: Loved the location of this hotel & staff were very helpful.
Cons: Wish we knew before hand that the hot water was not working but as soon as we told the staff another room was given for warm showers.
Location: Very close to Cal Poly. Great lunch restaurant Mr. Pickles, for breakfast, The Breakfast Buzz among other restaurants around.
Had a pleasant time. Walk to restaurants which were very close by. Room was cleaned & comfortable. Staff was helpful. Will stay there again.

Close to Morro Bay

The front desk service was quite good and the lady was very personable. However when entering the room I noticed immediately that whoever cleaned the room prior to my entering, had missed a pair of shoes the previous occupant had left behind.

The staff was good no issues there. The room was clean I know the restrooms were updated recently. I know I wasn't staying at a 5 star but there are certain things I like. The furniture was noticeably stained which made it uninviting but besides that nose level or dogs were not an issue.

Basic Hotel, Good Area, Too expensive for what it

Posted 14-Jul-2015 on Hotels
Extremely basic hotel. Room was very small and dated - looked like they did a small update in the 90's. Mattress was warped, had to sleep with my head at the foot of the bed. For what it was I'd say it was overpriced (should be no more than $70/max for a busy night), though it was clean and it was in an ideal neighborhood. I'd only stay here again as a last resort.

My daughter and I stayed here one night and thought it was decent. Out of all the hotels around we chose this one because it was small, had continental breakfast and appeared safe. Front desk clerk was super friendly, no noise and clean. Beds are a bit worn out though.
