good quality of a budge motel near #1 highway

Posted 16-Aug-2016
The location is convenient for getting on #1 highway and to various restaurant. Even though the outside looks of this motel is not that pleasing, but the inside room is very clean, and comfortable. If I am in this area again, I will stay at this motel again. The staff is friendly and helpful.

This is a two star motel, not more, certainly not worth more than $40 for a room

Good location

Clean room with fairly comfortable beds. We had a downstairs handicap room. We did not have a handicap person in our group, but it was a triple with 3 queen beds which we needed. Narrow walkway and sidewalk to the door - would've been difficult for a wheelchair. Upgraded big bathroom with plenty of handrails, a huge walk in shower with a shower chair. However, no bathroom shelf space or counter space for toiletries anywhere - I mean zero, not even in the shower. The sink was wall attached so there was no vanity, as expected to accommodate a wheelchair. However, all of our toiletries had to be placed either on the ground in the bathroom or kept in the main bedroom and walked in and out of the bathroom daily for each use. Crazy because it really was nicely updated otherwise. Pool was not usable. It was gutted with a construction fence surrounding it. I'm sure they were upgrading the pool but during our short 2 night stay in the middle of the week there were no workers there. Overall a nice stay for our big family. I'm sure when upgrades are finished it will be more comfortable and convenient.

Great staff. Loved the king size bed! Convenient location. A bit run down. Would stay there again. Good stay for the price.

Do not judge a book by its cover.

Pros: Clean and quiet.
Cons: Maybe spruce up the outside. A coat of paint would do wonders.
Location: Quiet location. Taco Bell, Jack in the Box right there for a quick bite. Super close to Cal Poly and Pismo is 12 miles down the road!
Not much to look at. Breakfast is not much to speak of. The hotel room was very nice, many upgrades have been made. It is a quiet place to stay as well. The pool is being redone. Overall I was quite pleased. All I needed was a room for the night and for the price I could not beat this place.

Pros: It was right off the freeway - pro and con...
Cons: Cleanliness!
Location: It's on the way to Morro Bay.
The clerk said maybe 10 words to me at check-in. The hotel and rooms were dirty and run down. There were live-ins that had trash and miscellaneous items outside there room doors. We didn't walk on the dirty carpets or use the bedding! Breakfast consisted of some stale muffin pieces and cereal. We only stayed because our young child got sick and had a fever while on a road trip. I needed a place to care for her.
