Paper thin walls and old bathroom fixtures :(
The gentleman at the reception desk was very pleasant and we had good hopes about the rest of the hotel. Unfortunately, as we made our way up the stairs, we ran into a very drunk guest. We didn't think it would be a big deal until we got to our room and realized that the sliding door on the balcony didn't fully seal and we could clearly hear him and his friends in the spa. Knowing that the spa would close in another hour, we tolerated it. Little did we know that once the spa closed, one of those guests would be located next door. The walls were so thin that we could hear him talking and watching t.v. until close to midnight.
When I read that the rooms had been remodeled, I guess I expected that the bathrooms would be included in that. The fixtures were really old, the tile was cracking, and the bathroom fan either didn't exist or didn't work. Additionally, there was no iron or ironing board located in the room.
This was a disappointing experience and will definitely pay more to stay at a better location!
