"We rented to see what living off the coast and into the hills would be like. The set up is great, all amenities there were well looked after and we felt we had the place to ourselves even though there were other guests. Very peaceful and night and great for star gazing. We did not use the pool as weather was not hot enough, but we did BBQ a couple of times which was lovely. The log burner was a nice feature but was needed at night. "We were a group of 10 girlfriends (all 50+) who organise a week away for 'special' birthdays when they occur. This villa was perfect for what we wanted. Some of us are at an age where occasional snoring occurs and with 7/8 bedrooms, this meant that 6 of us were able to sleep soundly in our own private room. Bliss!! Good access to the main road by car, after the long switchback, but it was too much/long for a stroll to nearby La Matanza de Acentejo in the heat.
