The most beautiful property you have ever been in. A true palace and wonderful house, historic property, all original. Breakfast was outstanding and the owners are wonderful. Can't say enough good things about this place. Location is perfect.
Absolutely stunning. Easy check in. Great size room.
Comfy(ish) beds (beds are SO HARD to give five stars because we are all so unique) very helpful. Highly recommend!
A 12th century palace owned by just three families throughout history. Marzia and her staff were the most helpful and engaging that I’ve discovered. As you step through the stone gate you are transferred to a different place in time. I will stay here again if given the opportunity.
Very interesting place, staff support was excellent and helpful. Lovely village and amazing countryside. I would definitely stay again. It is perfectly located.
This is a beautiful historic palace and we loved being in the center of San Gimignano! The host was very helpful and accommodating of our party. When we booked we thought the apartment common area was part of the apartment but it is a shared space for the palace.
We had 8 people and we stayed in the Pallazo and found this to be a fantastic experience in a great gem of the city. Marcia was an excellent host and the accommodations which are in a building from 1132 were magnificent. I highly recommend this place.
We stayed for 5 nights in 4 rooms on the top floor of the Palazzo and had a wonderful time. Marzia and Bianca are the best hosts! They were so helpful in planning our trip, giving us great recommendations, making dinner reservations (some pre planned and some at the last minute), and helping us with our travel within Italy. They were a great resource, so friendly, kind and knowledgeable. The historic Palazzo is in a great location, was comfortable and well maintained, and was cleaned every day. There is a lovely interior courtyard for eating outdoors. I highly recommend it. The town of San Gimignano was wonderful to visit, with great views and historic sites to visit. We took several day trips as well, and enjoyed the local vineyard. For convenience, there is a supermarket just outside of town. We wished we found it earlier to stock up on fruit and yogurt and snacks. There are many places in town for pastries, cheese, bread, and salami, and many restaurants, but very little produce to buy and no real convenience stores. The refrigerators in our rooms remained mostly empty. There is a laundromat outside of the walled town, but Marzia can arrange to have the laundry done for you if you prefer.
