Beautiful home in Chianti with exceptional views

An Unforgettable Chianti Escape in the heart of Chianti was nothing short of magical.If you're looking for an authentic, luxurious, and truly relaxing Tuscan getaway, look no further. It feels wonderfully secluded and peaceful, yet it's just a short drive to charming hilltop towns like Greve in Chianti, Panzano, and Castellina in Chianti.You can easily explore local wineries, enjoy delicious meals at some fabulous restaurants. The communication with Annie and Paul was excellent and we're looking forward to planning our next stay!

Authentic Tuscany Experience

First let me say Anne and Paul are great hosts. Having an additional onsite manager is a bonus. We were six adults and two young children. We were comfortable with bedrooms for all. Love having a king size bed. Sitting outside with a glass of wine watching the sun set over the vineyards is how we ended each day.

Family Vacation

Beautiful home that was well appointed and very clean. The views were spectacular and the location was convenient for sightseeing. The landlord and other guests were very friendly and gave great advice on restaurants and places to visit. We had Serena come in and cook for us twice and they were tow of the best meals we had in Italy!

Wonderful villa with spectacular views

We absolutely loved Anne’s gracious house, which was spacious and well appointed. Thoughtful amenities and a well equipped kitchen helped us cook some great meals, and the surrounding countryside provided plenty of hill villages and restaurants and walks. We felt we could have spent a month here. Thanks to the host!

What a fantastic property!

Photos will never capture the feeling and vistas of this property! This is a beautiful house with unbelievable views! The cherry on the top included 2 wonderful dinners cooked by Serena. A week wasn’t enough!

Terrific house and setting

This is a beautiful, lovingly maintained house and garden, set on the top of a hill with the most beautiful views (we loved the clear views of San Gimignano skyline in the morning). Huge pool, lots of walking tracks, and many villages and towns to visit nearby. What’s not to like?

Takes your breadth away

Ths whole experience lives up to all expectations. Annie was very helpful throughout the process and the house and property are like the photos. We all joked that we did not need to go see other views because we had the best view in Tuscany in our backyard! The property is very tranquil and centrally located for day trips. The house worked well for our group of 7 and we look forward to returning!

Tuscany Adventure

We were a party of 6 and we thoroughly enjoyed the ambiance and beauty of Le Bagnaie ( The Barn ). The sunsets on the back patio enjoying a glass of wine with family was fantastic. We visited Pisa, Siena, Florence, San Gimignano, Montepulciano and Volterra during our week. A great location and the town of Castellina in Chianti is small and quaint with nice restaurants. It was a fantastic week and to top it off we had Serena cook us two great meals! She is special! Thank you Paul and Anne!

Perfection!!

This is one of the most beautiful places I’ve seen! The perfect Tuscany retreat. Clean and tastefully decorated. Jacky was a great source of information and Serena cooked the most delicious authentic Tuscan meals. The night we arrived the power was out because of a bad storm the night before, and Serena had dinner waiting on us when we arrived. The views from every corner of this property are so beautiful. Don’t hesitate to book this place…you won’t be sorry!!

Tuscany Magic!

This is a beautiful home on a stunning property with sprawling views of the Tuscan countryside. The pool was the ideal place to unwind and cool off after a day of exploring the surrounding towns and sights. The home itself was ideal for our family and everyone had their own lovely bedroom and bath. We enjoyed cooking meals in the well appointed kitchen and eating outside in the evenings as well as watching the sunsets and admiring the views with a glass of Chianti. Paul and Annie were friendly and helpful during the booking and check in process and providing restaurant recommendations as well. Wonderful hosts and an out of this world stay. We can’t wait to return!

Beautiful Tuscan property

The property is set upon a hill, surrounded by vineyards and offers amazing views. This 4 bed 4 bath property has everything you could possibly need for a home from home stay. The outdoor areas are wonderful for enjoying a home cooked meal and a glass of Chianti Classico. We had Serena cook for us one evening- wonderful! The swimming pool area is lovely with ample sun loungers, bathrooms and showers. Both the owner and the property manager were easy to contact and gave us all the information we needed. We stayed for 10 days and visited many of the surrounding towns. Perhaps our only issue is that we had no clean linens during our stay. We would definitely recommend this property for a peaceful holiday.

Wonderful location in Tuscany

Everything you would expect from a Tuscan Villa and more. Jacky and Annie communicated very well, the Villa was well stocked, the pictures don’t do justice to the view, and the pool was great. We stayed during the hottest part of July (upper 90s every day) and the Villa stayed at a comfortable temperature with fans for use at night. One note is that we suggest a small 4 wheel drive SUV if you plan to visit Vineyards. Many of them with the views are at the top of gravel road hills and while a big car would not be good, having 4-wheel drive is helpful. As many have mentioned, we had Serena cook one night and probably should have just hired her for the whole week. She was great! We can’t recommend this place enough and we hope to be back!

Beautiful Home in Picturesque Setting

The house and settings are exactly what I was looking for in a Tuscany stay. Gorgeous views of the hills and vineyards. A living room with a big fireplace, large kitchen, multiple dining areas inside and out, a game room, washer/dryer, and multiple bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms for family members. The only downside I could say is that we dealt with annoying flies. However I would stay here again as overall it was wonderful. Castellina in Chianti is a great small town with wonderful restaurants, a Coop/food store, gelaterias and some points of history. The location was also excellent for visiting nearby wineries and places like Siena and San Gimignano. Communication was excellent with the Owner. Outside of answering questions I had in a timely manner, the Owner also helped arrange a local chef, Serena, who made two delicious meals for us.

A Tuscan Dream Come True

Le Bagnaie was the perfect villa for us to enjoy two weeks in Tuscany with four other friends. The villa exceeded expectations on all levels. The rooms and baths were big, the kitchen well stocked for cooking, and the courtyard and outside seating areas were spectacular with views to die for! We even enjoyed the use of the garden for fresh vegetables and herbs for cooking . I would highly recommend asking Serena to provide a couple of meals for you. She is a true talent in Tuscan cooking. Our favorite time of day was returning to the villa after exploring and enjoying the sunset and wine. Only caution I would recommend is not to arrive at night. The last 1.7 cm is on a twisting, narrow, gravel road but that was typical for the area. Please don’t hesitate to book Annie’s place for your stay.

50th Anniversary Getaway

What a great place, and serene locale, to have a month to relax, enjoy family, soak up the culture and the life style. Le Bagnaie gave us an experience we will remember for the rest of our lives. The villa we stayed in offered us room to spread out, a fantastic view of the surrounding countryside(since it is located on top of a hill), a well appointed kitchen, which Serena, our local chef used multiple times to prepare meals. It did not matter whether it was just for 2 or as many as 8 of us. Fresh, locally sourced meals with multiple courses, greeted us for breakfast or dinner time. Even though our stay spanned a period from mid May to mid June, we were able to enjoy the huge pool and the grounds for nearly the full time frame. IT did not hurt that the weather was near perfect, and even if there was a passing afternoon of evening shower, the fair winds and surrounding countryside and mountain ridges seem to make more brief interludes. While other guests also stayed in other areas in this fully refurbished farmhouse complex, we were rarely aware that others were around. Private patios, a flower garden both in front and behind the villa, make this place a special experience. .

This property has magical views and so much outdoor and patio space with beautiful gardens and shrubs. Three choices of outdoor dining spaces and each seats eight people. This is our second time here and we love it. Pool is wonderful with more fantastic views. Wonderful catering available with charming Serena. She made gluten free meals for our group. Outstanding villa

We had the most amazing time in an outstanding villa with stunning views and sunsets. The villa is spacious and very comfortable, plenty of areas to eat outside, a large shared swimming pool that was never busy and beautifully tended gardens. Honestly the best villa we have stayed in. Perfect for 6 to 8 people and everything you need provided to cook in or bbq. It’s a 10 minute drive down a dirt track but worth it! The house and its surroundings were absolutely beautiful. There was lots of room and the house was very clean. The grounds were immaculate. The pictures don’t do the place any justice! You will be in awe. We had Serena cook for us one evening and if I could do it again, I would have asked her to cook multiple evenings. The food was fantastic and it was so nice and relaxing to have her cook for you while you just enjoy the atmosphere and a glass of wine.We were two families with 4 adults and 4 children and the place was perfect.We would not hesitate to book this house again and would stay even longer next time.

Stunning view and comfortable home like experience

You will love the views. The pool looked amazing even though the temperature was to cool to use it in the beginning of April. Location is close to a village with highly rated restaurant options. Great access to Siena, Florence, and San Gimignano.
