San Gervasio

This was a very good resort. The quality is there, but the property is looking like it needs to be refreshed. Still, we had a great time at Dreams. The rooms are clean and stylish with great working air conditioning. The public areas are clean and maintained well. The resort does have a great pool and swim up rooms. It also has a beach with sand, while other areas on the island just have coral ledges. The breakfast buffet was good, made to order omelettes. Lunch and dinner buffet were just okay. The two restaurants on the resort offered much better food than the buffet. Either way, you will not be hungry. The mini fridge is stocked with beer, soda, juice and water. Also they are not stingy with the bottled water, you can get clean water and ice all over this resort. The people are kind and inviting, not pushy. The resort does offer guests the chance to participate in a vacation sales program for some free gifts and vouchers for services, but you can also decline the invitation, which I recommend. This was a very good resort and would book again. From the time arrived the staff made it clear they were they to help and be of service. The rooms were well maintained and they ensured you had everything you needed daily. The amenities were well kept and I seen someone cleaning the pool daily. The breakfast buffet was amazing. Everyday you would go down and they had a selection of food. Food and coffee or juice were included with the buffet The gym was equipped with everything you would need for any workout you were doing and it was never full. Each time I went there was only 1-3 other ppl. The beach was right on the property and you could set yourself up anywhere on the beach or pool. They would come and serve you if you wanted a snack or drink. They also had a snorkel and scuba shop on site that helped to set you up. They had day rentals as well if you wanted to do it on your own. This was the perfect place for a vacation!
