I have never come across a more stunning, opulent, and palacial B&B ever! A most beautiful find and more than comfortable stay. Highly recommended and close to everything although at the quieter end of what is called 'the golden mile' which is a good thing. Don't let the outside appearance fool you, this is a great little hotel! The rooms are spacious, very clean and well equipped, although access to hot water (a kettle would do) for tea or coffee would be good. The service is great and a excellent breakfast for just 5 euros is unbeatable. Off street parking is accessible and very safe. Lots of good information about the area and how to get there avoiding the tourist traps.

I arrived on my motorcycle late in the afternoon after a long day in scorching heat. I was greeted by Lorenzo who showed me where to park my bike on the courtyard. There are locked gates at night which is a plus point for any motorcyclist. Lorenzo offered me copious amounts of water before checking me into my room which was spotlessly clean and very pleasant. Lorenzo speaks very little English but uses Google Translate on his phone very effectively. He is clearly very proud of the region...

Lovely property and the team were so helpful during our stay , some of the best service we have had as well as them bookings us in at one the few restaurant that was open. The breakfast is varied and amazing, we had an early checkout and even supplied the breakfast early for my partner who is pregnant to ensure she had something to eat. The view was beautiful from the room and will definitely stay here again for sure!

We arrived at the property later than we had planned due to driving from Matera and exploring the Royal Palace nearby. The owners were extremely helpful - making space for us to park our (massive) rental car, helping us with the bags and showing us to our room.
