Our stay at Villa La Tartana was excellent. The place was difficult to find since it’s our first time to visit Positano and no one seems to know where it is. Once we found it, everything else was perfect. Sylvia welcomed us and was kind to upgraded our room from partial to full sea view. The room was freshly painted, very clean, and the summer breeze of the Mediterranean Sea circulated through the French doors and bathroom window. It never felt stuffy or enclosed. We are germaphobes (even prior to covid) and this was the ONLY hotel we could find that everything was wipeable - including the headboard. Water had good pressure and was quick to warm. Plenty of supplies of toiletries that smell amazing yet gentle to skin. The free breakfast was filled with freshly squeezed OJ, freshly-made cappuccino, and local pastries. The view, of course, is also amazing from the dining hall. Thereafter, Fabriccio has been a wonderful resource in ensuring our needs are also met. The famiky also owns Caffe Positano and provides a free shuttle from Piazza Dei Mulini (nearby Piazza) to the Caffef and back upon request. Very welcoming family-run business and will surely stay here when we visit Positano again. Thank you for our wonderful experience. You have exceeded our expectations.
