Fishermans Wharf

Posted 18-Feb-2017
Fishermans Wharf is more of a touristy area by day and slower more relaxed at night. It's a great place to sleep at during twilight hours. Definitely go by Bueno Vista and get 2 Irish Coffees and 2 to go. Amazing place... Enjoy the bike tours and the hills of SF. Great place, not at all what I was expecting in a good way. Super nice people, great food, and a excellent overall experience.

Nice hotel in good location

Posted 14-Feb-2017
Pros: Excellent location for visiting tourist attractions.
Cons: Sound insulation in rooms. Price and selection in hotel lobby snack shop.
Location: Alcatraz trips depart from the pier less than 10 minutes walk away. Cable car rides within 2-3minute walk and Lombard street is only a 10 minute walk
This was a good standard hotel in a very convenient location for many of San Francisco's tourist attractions. There are several hire car companies with offices within a 5 minute walk as well as bike rental and Segway tours. Staff were very helpful. The little shop serving drinks and snacks in the lobby is expensive but there is a supermarket conveniently located very close by for essentials. We didn't use the leisure facilities so can't comment on that. We did hear some traffic noise from our hotel room but not too bad for a city centre hotel.

Great location!

Posted 13-Feb-2017
Pros: Great location! Close to Fisherman's Wharf and one block from the end of the cable car line!
Cons: The rooms could use an update, fresh coat of paint.
Location: Fisherman's Wharf, cable car line
Having the family room was great. Usually traveling with kids, the parents get a small bed. But we had a king size bed and the kids had plenty of room too!

Hotel very close to Fisherman's Wharf.

Posted 10-Feb-2017
Pros: The staff were very nice. Close to Fisherman's Wharf.
Cons: Things were as I expected, contemporary.
Location: Tourist area. Close to souvenir shops and local restaurants.
Walking distance to all of the experiences Fisherman's Wharf has to offer. The staff were wonderful and the hotel is very contemporary. We were only there one night and it was a perfect fit. Perfect for business, not huge on comfy cozy.

Good location, terrible service

Posted 30-Jan-2017
Pros: Location
Cons: If you're going to allow guests to extend their stay, make sure you're prepared to accommodate the guests who will come in after them.
Location: Segway tours, International Spy Museum, El Tanguito (Argentine food truck)
My husband and I had planned a weekend getaway for our son's 17th birthday in SF. We arrived around 1:00 pm, knowing that our room was unlikely to be ready however we hoped that we would be able to check in prior to the 4:00 pm check-in. The staff took my cell phone number and said they would "rush the room" & call when ready. We left to have lunch and returned at 2:30 pm. Still no room. With our car parked and our bags checked with the bellman we decided to go and take a Segway tour. We returned at 5:45 pm and our room was still not ready. The manager said that he could offer us a 2nd floor room which we didn't want, knowing that the SF streets can get loud at night. He was unapologetic and said there was nothing he could do. We were offered a free drink in their restaurant which I refused. Then he offered us a free buffet breakfast - I said we just wanted a room at least to rest in until our room was ready. He said ours would be ready in 30 minutes. I asked for a discount on the room or an upgraded room since we would have to check out within less than 15 hours at that point. He refused. I asked to have our parking covered & the breakfast which he finally agreed to but we still have no room. Finally at 6:15 we were able to check in. This was totally unacceptable. We had booked our room well in advance and there is no reason that our room should have been so delayed. The worst issue was the rudeness of the hotel manager who didn't even apologize for our inconvenience.

寝具がすごく快適でぐっすり眠れました。部屋は狭いけど、シャワーなどの洗面所も清潔で快適でした。ダウンタウンにあるので回りにレストランなどもあり便利です。

Not bad, Parking a ripoff

Posted 27-Jan-2017
Cons: Parking
As far as everything at the Hotel it was fine. I do have a problem with the parking situation though. You are a hotel, let your guest use your parking garage without valet.Valet is over 70 dollars a day. Absolute ripoff. Don't pay the money, park your car on the street for way cheaper. Also parking on the street is completely free after 7pm and yes you can leave it overnight as long as the street sweeper is not going to go by. If one side of the street says its going to be by, the other side will not.
