This home is a detached, private 1 bedroom unit on a shared property. The main home onsite is also a rental (single-family 5 bedroom home). There is no designated parking for this home. This home is located on the second floor and requires stairs for entry. There are a separate set of spiral stairs up to the rooftop. This home is monitored by exterior surveillance cameras and interior noise monitoring devices. We supply a starter pack of paper goods and cleaning products. This includes paper towels, toilet paper, laundry detergent, multi-purpose spray, hand & dish soap, and shower sets. Beach chairs and a beach umbrella are also provided for your use. You must be at least 30 years old to rent this home. If all guests are adults, all guests must be over the age of 30, excluding families. Neighborhood Notes: Pacific Beach is San Diego's lively take on the classic beach town with over five miles of waterfront boardwalk, trendy shops, restaurants, and Belmont Park, a beachfront amusement park featuring the historic Giant Dipper Roller Coaster, originally built in 1925 but since restored, miniature golf, bumper cars, rock climbing, and an arcade. Pacific Beach is just a few minutes to Sea World, 15-20 minutes to The San Diego Zoo, Balboa Park, San Diego International Airport (SAN), and downtown San Diego. Attention: This rental is located in a high-density neighborhood with strict house rules and is only suitable for quieter groups. No tolerance policy exists for excessive noise, occupancy, parties, or smoking. Failure to abide by these policies may lead to immediate eviction without refund. Big thanks to the super-responsive property mgr for adding a small desk for computer work and roofdeck umbrella, which overall made the spaces more comfortable and work-oriented rather than crashpad-ish. A good choice for a weekend stay. Is the back unit of another apt, so the entrance that doesn't intrude on the front unit is the alley through the garbage bins (not my favorite as they were nearly always full from the other units). The unit was so clean, everything was great quality, the location was maybe 2-3 blocks to Tourmaline beach, loved the rooftop sunset and barbecuing. And the neighborhood is safe and quiet and people are so nice. And their response to a few texts were very timely. Definitely will rent here again, without a doubt. It’s a stones throw from Tourmaline Beach & close to several restaurants and shops. Great contemporary design, everything feels brand new, awesome rooftop patio with views of everything! The place itself was as advertised and nice and clean. Finding nearby parking was relatively easy. My only suggestion for the owners is to have at least one beach umbrella, beach chair and boogie board and to have a couple more supplies for until a renter can get to a store like … a little coffee, a few packs of sugar and artificial sweetener, some creamer not requiring refrigeration, a gallon of water. Also, one comfy chair in the living room would be useful. Sofa was not great to sit in because of deep seat with too mushy back. It was great to lie on though! Would stay there again! ##### Mike H. We arrived at a brand new unit, so shiny nobody had ever used the toaster, pulled the last stickers off the new fridge, or scuffed up anything. It looked like a page out of a magazine: clean, sterile and completely devoid of genuine character. Nobody's ever lived here, nobody put their heart and soul into it. It's "nice", but not a place that felt homey or comfortable. It's an ADU in a residential area, rented contrary to State law. It has a rooftop deck that's fine, but too sunny to actually use, and no shade structure. The management company is a publicly traded big short term rental company, fully as impersonal as the space. We had a problem with a lost item, and it took a while, but they did eventually solve it. ##### Bryce N. Great for a small family, and everything in between. The kitchen was simple and had everything equipped. We love this is a dog friendly home! The area was nice had plenty of place to eat within walking distance. The beach was only about a 5 minute drive depending on your desired location.
