We were overwhelmed at how many things there was to do for all ages at the house. the pool, hot tub, putting green. connect four, pool table , hiking close by, game room, and more. We went to the zoo and the 2 beaches. We each tried our hand a making a meal. We were very blessed to be together. I would highly recommend this wonderful house. ##### robert l. The pool, hot tub, putting green and bocce/cornhole gave us all opportunities to have fun, unwind and relax. The interior of the house is spacious and open and offered plenty of sleeping for our family. We took advantage of the location and walked the trails around Lake Murray and Mission Trails. We couldn’t have been more happy with this home. Communication with house manger was super and responsive. This property helped make this a very memorable trip for our family. ##### Lisa B. This was a perfect place for my family to stay. The layout of the home was ideal.With four bedrooms on one level, main with open plan kitchen, dining and living room and lower/ground level with game room, there was plenty of room for everyone to be doing their own thing but also lots of great gathering spaces for all. And the grounds can't be beat - beautiful pool, putting green, bocce ball court, etc provided a true getaway experience. We were visiting family in the area who stayed with us most of the week because the home was so spacious and fun. The owners were prompt, friendly, and helpful in their communication. We had a couple initial questions/minor issues upon check in and Frank took care of everything right away and was more than accommodating. Location and proximity to Cowles mtn is great too and recommend hiking to the peak - amazing views of city. My one suggestion would be to leave a welcome book/binder for guests with answers and instructions for home. While Frank was really responsive, a book with detailed info would have prevented having to answer all of my questions. Overall, a wonderful place for families to gather and have a great time! Note: 4 Bedroom, Quiet Hours Strict Overall, my stay with a group of 14-16 was phenomenal. The grill and entertainment area out back was perfect for our evenings, pool and hot tub were clean, and the indoor areas were great for games and billiards. Ample parking, and we felt pretty isolated even though the neighboring houses are packed closely. Had a problem with the toilet, host reached out and offered to send a handyman over either during or after our stay, at our discretion. They also kindly adjusted some extra guest fees to more accurately reflect our actual guest count, even after we had agreed to pay a greater sum, which was generous of them! We were able to adequately sleep 16 if needed, with 1x per twin, 2x per queen, 3x per king, and 1x futon and 2x living room couch.Only two things to note. Firstly, as the fine print notes, there are only 4 true bedrooms. The "fifth" is a couch in the billiards room, which folds flat and is borderline comfortable. Secondly, the quiet hours are enforced strictly. Outdoor noise is only allowed before 9pm. Both nights, we received calls and notifications from the host and neighbors, asking us to please move inside. Once inside, we were loud with no issues until late. However, don't expect to be using the pool or hot tub while outside after 9pm unless you're basically silent. ##### Jackson P. This host is a dishonest, deceptive liar. We rented this house to celebrate son’s commissioning into US NAVY. Honesty, integrity & always doing the right thing is how we live our lives. We negotiated with Casey on a lower amount than advertised & she agreed in writing that if we paid advertised rate up front she would refund the difference after checkout. I never should have agreed to this but thought I could trust the host. Prior to checkout received to do list. Dishes, laundry, trash, etc. We bought our own windex to wipe down glass table, washed & folded towels, ran dishwasher, removed trash, swept floors & sewed corn hole bag torn upon arrival. We checked out as maids arrived & everything was in great condition. Asked about refund status several times over following days and finally reached Casey by phone- she apologized for late refund & said she would get on it! She shorted us and didnt leep her word! Attempted to contact Casey again & SHE BLOCKED MY PHONE & wife’s phone, which she of course denied when asked by VRBO. VRBO reached out to her on at least 3 different occasions. First time she told VRBO she had sore throat & couldn’t talk but stated we had agreed to a percent off (a lie) which was reason for partial refund. Not suprising, the second & third times she told VRBO the reason for lack of full refund was we did not leave the property in good condition (lie). We provided photo proof to VRBO but she did not.
