It was a wonderful stay! I loved how the parking spot leads right to the door. I also loved the neighborhood. Very clean and safe. I’d say the space is perfect for 4 adults and 2 kids. The shower was a bit tight, and I’m small. My husband is 6’ tall and he said it was manageable except for the fact that the shower had a half glass to cover the water. He definitely made a splash, but at least there was a bath mat.
You can hear upstairs neighbors a bit. Whoever was in the other unit above us wasn’t loud except for when they walk up/down the stairs (stairs are right next to lower unit), and you can definitely hear when they were doing laundry. It sounds like the pipes went down the same ones by the ones in our unit.
Other than those minor things, I really loved how they remodeled the unit. The kitchen had everything we needed, minus some seasoning and oil to cook with. Definitely look at what you got and go grocery shopping after. It did have all the pots and knives and kitchenware we needed. Even had a wine opener, which is not always available at rental units.
We definitely appreciated the AC in the living room. That was our home base while we stayed there. It felt very homey!
It’s definitely more than a few minutes walk to get to balboa park, but a short drive, less than 10 minutes.
One of the best things about this place, besides the cleanliness, is Efrain’s communication. He was prompt ans easy to reach. Thank you for being a wonderful host! Would stay here again!
