As 1st timers to San Antonio The Den was the perfect place to stay!The location to the Alamodome to see the DCI competition was ideal.The neighborhood was so nice to walk and scooter to local restaurants.The convince of this property is amazing we were not disappointed.David was an amazing host and provided exceptional communication and we are excited to return in the future.

I stayed at this property for two nights with a friend and we enjoyed our stay. It is close to the Alamodome, River Walk and the historic Market Square. There is plenty of street parking and the neighborhood is quiet. The property is near the freeway, so you will hear some emergency vehicles, as well as a train. It didn't bother us, but others may not care for it. The price was great, especially for a short stay.

David communicated EVERYTHING clearly.There is a lot of noise from the highway, but the room is lovely and comfortable.We had cocktails on the front porch to relax and couldn't have enjoyed it more.

This room was clean and well designed for comfort. The microwave, fridge, and stocked coffee area were wonderful anmenities. David communicated quickly and helped with everything I needed. I didn’t have a car but felt safe walking to a nearby coffee shop and bakery.

We have nothing but good things to say about this cute little place. Communication with the host was excellent and check-in and out was easy. The place was very clean and set up nice. The room is small but that’s all we needed. Loved the large bathroom and closet space to store all our stuff. The fridge was stocked and coffee was good. Plus, a bottle of wine was provided. This place is perfectly located close by to all the places people visit San Antonio for. If you want a delicious breakfast close by with excellent service we recommend Labor Street Cafe. We will definitely be back!

The place was immaculate! Very nice and very welcoming. Very nice touch with walking in when we first arrived to see a very nice bottle of wine with 2 wine glasses on a tray in the middle of the bed. The place was close to all of the downtown attractions. We were in town to go to the Alamo Bowl, and it was within walking distance. No need to have pay for parking or fight the traffic. Overall, it was perfect! I would highly recommend staying here for your San Antonio trip!

Everything was clean and the location was perfect for the places we wanted to visit. I notified the host that we were going to be in late due to our delayed flight, and he took the extra measure to ensure the lamps were on for us so we would not enter into a dark room. A bottle of wine and 2 glasses were waiting for us on the bed, and the fridge was stocked with sodas. We didn't expect this and we couldn't stop talking about all the thought the host put into every area of the room to make the stay comfortable. We highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. We are not sure if we will be back in San Antonio again, but if we are, we will absolutely stay here!

Happy Haven

We recently had a wonderful opportunity of spending the whole weekend and what we consider a happy haven . The home was nice well kept and absolutely comfortable. We will definitely be coming back and using this location for a second time. Great communication from David no issues no concerns.

The Texan Den is a very clean and cozy, small elegant cute turtle dove love nest, perfect for a quick getaway with your couple/spouse. Your eyes open with awe and delight upon entering this cozy den, the bed, sheets, pillows clean and comfortable. The location is a near mile walking distance to river walk or Alamo dome. The Texan Den host, Mr. David was/is and Outstanding host, promptly replies to requests, keeps the guests informed of any potential issues and goes above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable and worry free as possible. The amenities included in our stay was an A+ , highly recommend and will be staying again at the Texan Den.

Nice clean room, location is great especially if going to a alamadome event. Places to eat near by, also a little heb market that I had to find as the room only had a quarter of a toilet paper roll. The room had some drinks and coffee which was nice...just no toilet paper or trash can liners in any of the trash cans. I brought some snacks in walmart bags from home we used that for trash and picked up toilet paper at the market. No biggie. Just something to keep in mind if booking. Also if you like real sugar in your coffee pack that aswell. The room got a little warm even with the fan on but it's San Antonio and also the power kept going off which caused it to really heat up, pretty sure that was from work being done on a neighboring apartment. Another heads up check in is at 4 we planned to arrive a tad early and they stated we could check in early for a 50.00 fee. I thought that was a bit steep for a hour or so we just messed around until check in. That was a first we have never had anyone charge like that, I can understand if you are arriving 6 hours early. Rules are Rules I suppose. We enjoyed are stay. I would recommend. Just pack papertowels, trash liners, and toilet paper and your coffee items. You'll be good to go.

While visiting family nearby, I found this place Very nice with being quiet & easy access to downtown. Room was clean beyond expectations and the parking was abundant. Felt totally safe here which is a Big Plus. Overall, I would come back to the Texan Den.
