This hotel is the best place to stay if you have to a convention or just to staying for the weekend, the staff is exceptional , the rooms a beautiful and it's convenient to walk anywhere!! Beautiful views and pool area was a plus!

Upon arriving we had a warm welcome by the staff. Check in was a breeze and the hotel is just stunning to say the least. My 2 downsides was the mini fridge was stocked with beverages that you can purchase but leaves you absolutely no space if you want to store your leftovers or beverages, the other downside was after checking out valet brought my car down but didn’t offer to help me load my car when I was visibly struggling but were so prompt to help when I first arrived, besides that my stay was enjoyable.

The rooms were very clean and maintained daily which is not always the case any longer with many hotels. Air conditioning was working well. Soap and lotion in bathroom was higher end and very nice! Would definitely stay again.

The Monarch was an AMAZING experience that excelled in all areas of customer service and satisfaction. The property was immaculate, the rooftop bar had top quality cocktails, the coffee bar was perfect to start the morning, the bedding was top comfort and special turndown service and welcome glass of bubbly was icing on the cake! We found our new San Antonio FAVORITE!

We loved our stay at Monarch Hotel, if they maintain the property just like it is right now it will be our preferred placed to stay in San Antonio. The room has been beautifully designed, the comfortable bed ensures a restful night, and the big and fluffy towels are the best of all!

The hotel was lovely. Staff were very attentive and friendly. Room was very well appointed with plenty of drinks, snacks, robes and bath-sheets. Did not eat at the restaurants but we did enjoy some cocktails on the 17th floor. Enjoyed the view and bartenders were great. Very walkable.

The pool was amazing and everything was so beautiful! The staff was so helpful, and the amenities were great. Great location, close to the riverwalk and restaurants. Tip: order the chocolate chip cookie platter from in room dining. Amazing!!!

The Monarch is a beautiful building and experience. The staff in particular Bethany at the desk, and apologies if I misremembered this, Armando the bellman were so welcoming and helpful during our stay. The attached restaurants set a new standard in my mind for hotel restaurants, Dinner and breakfast both at Aleteo were culinary highlights of our trip. Oak and Amber’s hamburger and tallow fries were an unexpected delight as well and left me wishing we had time for another full dinner on this trip to try more of their menu! The hotel itself is located just a block away from access to the riverwalk, less than 10 minutes from the Alamo, and right on the Hemisfair park meaning an easy stroll was all it takes to enjoy local scenery, tourist attractions and historic San Antonio.
