"The stay was nice. It was a beautiful hotel in a great location. The staff was friendly. We did not receive the VIP promotional upgrades or the bottle of wine. Although we did get a small upgrade with a view of the river instead of the city, I had to ask for it by explaining the VIP status for Expedia and that was uncomfortable. They had several rooms for upgrade, but the receptionist argued that sometimes they don’t have availability to upgrade. It was a bit embarrassing to have to ask for the upgrade when I felt it should have been offered automatically. But it was a nice stay!"
