Cute cabin overlooking Spring Creek

This cabin is only a few feet from the edge of a 40ft cliff overlooking a beautiful spring fed creek.

The bedroom has a queen sized bed. Living area has a 42in flat screen tv, cable, DVD player, and a very comfy leather couch. Kitchenette has a sink, small fridge, microwave, coffee maker, toaster and two burner stove top. An outdoor grill is also available.

This property is on 8 fenced and gated acres offering great privacy. Walk along the edge of the cliff and enjoy the views. Follow the road down to the water and enjoy swimming, fishing, and boating. Guests are allowed to use the pier, diving board, rope swing, canoe and flat bottom boat.

Boerne is only 15 minutes away offering great restaurants and shopping. Several pubs and breweries to choose from as well.

San Antonio is 45 minutes away.

Only one mile away is the renowned Cave Without a Name. Tours are available daily and they hold a concert in the cave once or twice a month. The cave property is around 100 acres and has miles of walking trails.

Two miles away is Kreutzberg Canyon Natural Area where more walking trails are available and Guadalupe River access.

Pictures on the site made it seem as if the dock was connected to the cabin. It is not. The Hendersons were fabulous. There was access to a boat or canoe that was not listed. The place is super quiet and a treat after being in the city all day. No internet though, so if that is a deal breaker for you…

Relaxing and beautiful stay!

We enjoyed relaxing by the creek, swimming, canoeing, shopping and eating in town, and exploring Cave Without A Name. This is a beautiful location in the hill country, and our hosts were very friendly and helpful! We are already thinking about a return trip sometime!

20th Anniversary Trip

We had such a great time, Seth and his family were so nice and friendly. The cabin was perfect for a couples get away. The property was so nice and clean. We fished off the dock down at the creek, enjoyed seeing all the deer running around, and just embracing the sights and sounds of nature. At night it was so dark and quiet, which is a huge difference from living in the city.

So peaceful and safe!!

My husband and I needed a quiet getaway and this is definitely the place! All we heard the whole time were the birds:)) Beautiful property and we felt very safe. When the weather is nice I bet using the boats that are included would be great. Communication with the owner was perfect.

Great Country Getaway

Had a great time getting away from it all! Out in the country with lots of great views and wildlife, but also close enough to explore the great little town of Bourne. We had Spring Creek pretty much to ourselves, and loved just hanging under the covered dock. Seth was a great host; highly recommend!

Breathtaking Cabin

We couldn’t have been happier with our stay! It’s a very small cabin, perfect for 1-3 ppl. Everything was clean and you couldn’t ask for better hosts….they were incredibly accommodating and went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed and wanted during our stay. If you’re looking for a reasonably priced, clean, comfortable, and picturesque spot outside of town, on the water, with fishing, canoeing, swimming, beautiful landscape, and truly dedicated hosts, THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU! We will certainly be back. Thank you guys, and Cole, for a perfect birthday weekend getaway!

Stress-free Country Getaway

We had a fabulous time at the little country cabin. Though at first we were a bit surprised to be just a couple hundred feet from the main house, we felt we had the place to ourself. The walk to the creek was easy and there were chicken and deer to see along the way. I caught a beautiful large mouth bass on evening, too. It was a wonderful stress free weekend getaway.

Weekend Getaway

Great stay! Wish we could have stayed longer! Highly recommended the Cave With No Name tour and the Richter restaurant in town. And you'd be missing out if you don't go swimming in the creek. We will definitely come back to the property.

A little piece of heaven

If you like the outdoors and nature this is the place! The creek was a lot of fun to kayak. The host is very accommodating but very respectful of my privacy. I’ll be back for sure!

Great little cabin

Loved my stay with the Henderson family. The cabin is situated just off the main drive away next to their home. They have a dog that came to greet me with in minutes of arrival. He came by a couple other times to say hi, very friendly. I used this stay as a mental health retreat. The sounds of nature the colors in the wild flowers and trees were breathtaking. This trip was everything i needed to recharge and practice self care. I thank the owners for sharing their little slice of heaven wirh me.

Little gem by the water

Cutest cabin!

We loved our stay at this cute little cabin. It was so quiet and relaxing. It was perfect for our 15th wedding anniversary. We went on a tour at A Cave Without A Name (only 6 minutes from the cabin), walked Main Street in Boerne (about 20 min from cabin), and fished the creek (short walk from the cabin). My husband caught a black bass. There's no wifi but they do have cable and a wraparound porch which was perfect to end our nights. I highly recommend this cabin for a relaxing quiet getaway.

Beautiful Creek Property

Beautiful tree lined creek below the cliff. Due to the rains this year, the water was perfect for cooling off in the hot afternoons. Enjoyed the covered porch and deck area in the early evening hours. Birds were plentiful. Seth was an attentive host and promptly communicated with us with questions we had about the accommodations prior to our arrival. Cole, the dog, was a bonus to our stay. Sweet boy.

Perfect vacation getaway

The property and owners are top notch, beautiful property awesome hospitality, there is a gorgeous canopy in between the cliffs, walking path, and water, like a little oasis. Close to Cave with no name a must see landmark and the cities of Boerne and Fredericksburg as well as the Guadalupe River. Added bonus is Coal their super friendly and intelligent property security manager aka their pet dog. Seth is very attentive and makes sure you have everything you have and more will definitely return.

Great Location

We wanted a private place in the country, and this was it. The cabin is close to the owner's house (and we did see his children when we walked to the creek), but the cabin itself is private. We enjoyed sitting on the patio overlooking the creek in the evening, and we took the canoe out a couple of times. I'd been warned that some rivers and springs have run dry, but the portion of creek on the property was still deep enough for boating. Seth was very accommodating. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.

A small piece of heaven

My husband and I spent a weekend for just us after our wedding. The hosts were so easy to communicate with and they even left us a small gift congratulating us. The cabin was one bed, one bath with a wrap around porch. It sat on the edge of a rocky cliff overlooking the creek. So absolutely beautiful! They had a dock at the creek that was covered and had a diving board and hammock. The relaxed atmosphere here was such a breath of fresh air. I cannot recommend this higher. We told our hosts we’d like to spend time here every year!!!

Clean, quiet and uncluttered in beautiful hill country

This was our first visit to Texas and this property did not disappoint! The listing is just as advertised and more. If you are looking for peace and quiet in a rural setting look no further. If you want to stay at a cabin that is clean, simple and uncluttered, this is the place for you. The cabin is just right for 2 people and has no more and no less than you need. We thought the wraparound covered porch was amazing and we spent lots of time on it. We like nature and birds and were able to see native Texas birds right from the porch. Just as previous reviewers noted, the owners respected our privacy and were not intrusive but were personable and willing to take time to talk with us. Their dog, Coal, is a gentle giant and we were amused by him. There is a walking trail down to the creek and once you get there the path continues with bluffs on one side and water on the other. My husband used the canoe to fish and caught largemouth bass. Blackboard BBQ is worth a trip and as well as Black Rifle Coffee shop. Shower has great water pressure, cable tv with plenty of channels, tap water tastes good, a/c works well, no wi-fi but our cellular service worked just fine.

Beautiful Weekend Getaway Cabin in Boerne

It is a nice cabin to enjoy with your loved one and getaway from the big city. At first you might encounter a big dog but he is very friendly and likes to be petted. Place was clean and owners were very responsive. There is no Wi-Fi but who needs it went you are with your favorite person. A perfect place for a couples.
