We have never had such a warm and friendly welcome. Don't be put off by the dirt track leading to the house, perfectly manageable on a motorbike. We were greeted with a smile and a cup of tea which was very welcome. There is the opportunity to have a meal and it was one of the best meals of the holiday. Beautiful house in a beautiful area hosted by wonderful people. If we are ever lucky enough to return to the area we will definitely return.

My first experience staying on a ship, a very friendly welcome onboard and the cabin although not luxurious (it is an old ship) was just perfect for a one night stay in Bodo.
The bunk was really comfortable and I had a great nights sleep.
If your looking for a different and unique experience when in Bodo you couldn't look much further than Veteranskipet MS Salten.

Breakfast was excellent and the afternoon waffles were also fun to make (both included in the price). We had pizza after going out on a rib boat trip which was good, and not too expensive. Our family room was practical with parking free in the large nearby outdoor car park from 3pm to 9am.
