So close to everything, just step outside the front door and you are there. Parking was easy but the steep hill may not suit some. Unfortunately, this cottage is not as good. It is badly in need of updating and a good clean. Some windows don't close, there are loose door handles (and many doors don't shut properly), bath taps need looking at and the outside space was filthy. The decor and furniture are old fashioned, and yes, they still have Christmas decorations up!! The kitchen was fantastically equipped! Though the smell of damp caused my husband breathing difficulties, it seems its only in the bottom half of the kitchen cupboards, couldn't get main oven to work, luckily had top oven (3 children to cook for) couldn't get any hot water but host quickly rectifyed. It is what it is, and we needed a break. It was clean apart from the grill hadn't been cleaned and crumbs on the side. It's great you can bring your dog but be mindful that the outdoor garden is enough for them is tiny. I think if the house book could be left on the table it would be helpful, Nothing major just leaving an honest review. ##### Jemma M.
