We stayed here for 3 night's whilst visiting family and the hotel was easy to find with plenty of parking and lovely gardens.
The rooms are small but adequate for a brief stop. Rooms are clean and the bed comfy. It was surprising to me that no tea or coffee facilities were provided in the room though.
We travelled with a dog so usually expect to be hidden away in rooms further away however this was right outside the cleaning stores so the noise from the housekeepers at 0830 hrs wasn't pleasant.
Breakfast isn't included in the booking but they charge for it when you check out. There was a good selection of quality food however it was not checked. Breakfast is served until 1000 hrs but if you arrive at 0900 after a coach load of people have eaten, there isn't much left and no further produce (coffee machine and juice machine empty too) was put out for the remaining hour of service. Eating in the evening, again food was of a good standard but this time the buffet was well stocked - purely because it is more expensive I should think.
Staff were very friendly however lacking in the supervisor/manager role. When it came to check out, they didn't check that we had paid via hotels.com and instead charged us AGAIN but then we have to provide proof of payment to get a note to say a refund will be processed as/when a manager comes in. This was rather frustrating however it was at least sorted within 24 hours.
Overall, I would stay again for a brief stop as good value for money.
