"Wonderful gem!
We had a whirlwind stay for just 2 nights between docking at Southampton and leaving for Heathrow, but we crammed in a trip to Brighton to see family. The location of the inn was perfect: we could've gone into central Southampton easily enough, and having the train station a few minutes walk away was perfect for getting around.
I only wish we'd had more energy and time to hang around the pub some more!"

"I was pleasantly surprised with my room after reading the reviews. I had one of the outside family rooms and it was big and comfortable. It served my purpose for what I needed perfectly.
If you're fussy there are a few imperfections but it is good value for the price."

"Breakfast was good but had to walk next door for meals and all activitys. Not very good, the room was ok and clean shower was in the bath , and it wasnt very good.we would not stay there again."
