"Upon entering slightly early I asked if the room was available and was told 'maybe' and then after a phone call it was a no. I decided to leave and head out to Manchester centre for the night and deal with checking in later on. Upon arriving there was a horrible guest with several children running around and accusing us of breaking into the property. After this we got into our room to find multiple issues. -stains in the carpet in multiple locations -stains and holes on most walls -musty old smell -badly rusted shower All of this was a surprise since the photographs of the room made it look immaculate and a pleasant stay, obviously this wasn't the case since it was a dump and a hygiene risk. I wouldn't stay here again or even put my worst enemy here."

"The room was fantastic, basically a studio apartment with full kitchen facilities. They've thought of everything. It was fantastic value and perfect location. Will definitely be staying again."

"Staff was understandably good as had a slight problem with the booking on arrival, which was dealt with in favour. Room was clean, buffet breakfast which served it’s purpose, was good for short stay and what we needed. The location was excellent for Tram stop with pub and McDonald’s across the road. Visited IWM and Corrie experience and marathon weekend within easy walkable distances. Overall satisfactory."

"The room I stayed in was absolutely filthy. Previous guests had clearly been smoking in the room, as the smell of smoke was really strong. We were unable to open the window as it was so high up. The window sill had been used as an ashtray and there were burn marks and ash still visible. The blind couldn't be opened, it was just permanently closed. Assuming in an attempt to hide the window sill. There were holes in either side of the bathroom door, where it had clearly been punched by previous guests. The tap in the sink wasn't fixed properly, and when turned on, the water ran brown! And also there was no hot water. And the TV had clearly been ripped off of the wall at some point, and some attempt was made to fill the hole, but the TV was left leaving on the table with the wall bracket still attached. The carpet was supposed to be yellow and blue geometric style pattern, but it was black. Upon checking in, the staff made no attempt to tell me anything, about how to turn on the hot water, they pointed at a piece of paper with the door code and WiFi password, and that was it. The main door wasn't secure as it was left open several times. And on one occasion through the night someone tried to gain access to our room. Having to listen to people arguing and banging on the front door until the early hours seemed fitting! I was told to have a nice day when checking out though! Thank goodness it was only 1 night! have taken photos for evidence!"
