We were delighted with a welcome basket of goodies in our room. We enjoyed the breathtaking green mountain view from our outdoor hot tub. The town center is a quick 5 block walk and offers lots of cute shops and restaurants. Right in town yet overlooking the valley. You feel that you are in the middle of nature but can be in the centre of town in less than 10 minutes walking. Definitely spend the extra for the deluxe bungalows. The views are amazing but it looks more like a fancy glamping. The only bad thing, was the check in, the most rude and unpleasant receptionist. I can manage sone harmless insects but such an unprofessional person, bo way. This hotel is amazing! The staff is attentive and friendly (though mostly only speak Spanish so brush up on the basics), the rooms are very cute, the bathroom and shower is nice, the the property is in a great location to walk all around the town. The complimentary breakfast is simple but delicious. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because there wasn’t heating in the room and it was in the 50s/60s and raining while we were there so the room did get quite chilly. The jacuzzi was great and the view from the balcony even better. Fire pit was a cute touch. Unless you’re a deep sleeper, I don’t recommend the regular rooms as they are exposed to a lot of street noise all night long and the wind howls. The staff went above and beyond and even made themselves available to drive us when it was hard to find a taxi to take us where we needed to go around town. This is one of the best stays in Salento, but just not the front rooms! Absolutely gorgeous! The bed was comfy and the room was well appointed. Breakfast and coffee were great. The hotel is a 5 minute walk to town.
