"Our stay at this beautiful 5-star resort in Sal was truly unforgettable, and what made it so special was, without a doubt, the incredible people who work there. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with such warmth, kindness, and genuine care that it immediately felt like a home away from home. The staff are the true heart and soul of this hotel. Their energy, positivity, and attentiveness shine through in everything they do. Even the smallest imperfections simply fade into the background because of the lively spirit and dedication they bring to every interaction. It’s rare to experience such consistent hospitality, where every guest is made to feel valued and cared for. I honestly wish I could mention every single member of staff by name, because they all deserve recognition for their hard work and the way they go above and beyond. Their commitment does not go unnoticed. A very special thank you to Anderson, Daniel, Ailton,Reddle, and Mara, who made our stay exceptionally smooth and memorable. Your kindness and professionalism truly stood out, and we are so grateful. We leave with wonderful memories and deep appreciation for the entire team. "The property is new and clean, you always see the staff cleaning, the suite is well laid out and clean. They refill our water bottles everyday. But we didn't have slippers in the room until I asked a few times then they delivered them after 3 days, and there's only 1 toilet in the suite. We went in April while it's about 25 degrees, it's quite windy so can't really swim in the sea with the big waves, the pool water also is cold so while I swam a bit, my young kids didn't want to. Food is good in the hotel, they always have 1/2 live cooking stations. Overall it's a beautiful place, nice property, but because of the wind and lack of other things to do with young kids I'm not sure I'll return. I do love the property ground it is beautiful, and the staff are helpful and friendly. "

"Very friendly and helpful staff and kept rooms and everywhere very clean. So much choice at breakfast. A great stay 2 minutes to the beach and easy walk in Santa Maria. "

"Not impressed with the room, or the style of seperate houses. We stayed at Melia Unas for 5 days their set was better, paths of tiles not gravel. I asked for a hairdryer it never came. Food was good and all the staff very helpful and pleasent. "

"Accommodation is very dated. Website photos do not reflect the hotel. Many of the properties on the resort are old and dilapidated. Wifi in room was the worst I have experienced in the last 10 years and we was lied to about this. For example you will have Wi-Fi on the sofa but less than three metres away you can’t use Wi-Fi in the bed to make a phone call. It was that bad. It was explained as a blackout across Cape Verde however good internet in bar area and other parts of Sal. Friendly and helpful staff especially Duke and the restaurant and bar staff. Free shuttle to Santa Maria twice a day was useful. "
